My Triond Story – Btodell

The amazing story and timeline of what Triond did for me!

My story starts, one day, while I was playing RuneScape walking along the member’s wall.  I was collecting Zamorak wine, if I remember correctly and kept walking back and forth along the wall.
Curiosity was building on what lay beyond the wall.  What had Jagex designed and built beyond that wall?
All of a sudden, curiosity broke loose!  I opened a new browser and began searching for ways to get a “free” membership.  The searching continued on for a couple days, but I finally found something called Triond.  I read through what the company does and what they do, is genius!

What Triond does is amazing!
You submit some content through their Online Editor and they post it on another site relevant to your content’s topic!  Ads are stuck on to your article and they make pay Triond by view, then Triond follows through and pays you half of the cut.  It doesn’t sound like much when you are doing most of the work, but at the time, it was good enough!

Being so happy and surprised that something like Triond existed, I emailed my cousin if he would like to co-own a Triond account, so we could both post articles whenever we had time.  He accepted the offer.  A few days later, we went to our grandparent’s house, where we had three days of free time to get our account moving along with some Triond articles!  So we began posting articles like crazy…

In the beginning, we were only making about $0.50 per month.  But we were still determined, knowing that if we kept up the hard work, we could build up our articles count and began to make reasonable amounts of money.
So we kept working hard posting articles as fast as we could, and with the help of a semi-popular article called Why not to play Facebook games, our monthly payout slowly rose from 50 cents to $2.00 per month.

Our Most Popular Article Yet

One day, I was writing articles and decided to write about this new RuneScape bot that I had found and was using during the previous months (found here).  I expected it just to be another plain (fail) article that only would earn $0.15 in a month’s time, but the next day, our daily views took off like a rocket! See picture here.

But after the article seemed to have reached it’s peak of popularity, our daily views began to decline.  They dropped down to about 90 views per day before finally leveling out.

Time went By

For a while after the drop, we stopped writing articles because of school.  Our account was making about $2-$3 per month.  Not enough to sustain a membership, although I had taken a break from the game for about 4 months…

But soon, school project became scarce so I began playing RS again. Immediately after I logged in, I noticed that I had no membership, so I went back to our ancient Triond account and checked on it.  It was just about the same as it was when we left it.

I decided to update as many articles as I could, using my EPIC English skills.  I also cleaned out useless information.  While doing so, I read over my old popular article.  In seeing how terribly written it was, I decided it was time for a major update for the article.  This meant, new pictures, new info, and new look.  In just about 45 minutes I had the article updated to premium quality.

The next day, our daily views took a giant step up above 200 views.  I was so happy, that just an update could increase our views so drastically!

My cousin and I began writing, higher quality articles than before.  Our views continued rising!

The money started flooding into our Paypal account!

And our views to this day just keep rising!

Thanks for reading and everyone who has clicked on one of our articles and helped my cousin and I make all this money!
