Everyone has their own Triond records that they are proud of.
Everyone has Triond records. People are proud of their most viewed work, their most commented on work, they highest earning work. People like setting milestones. It’s an indication of their skill, talent, desire and commitment. People also like having milestones so that they have something to try and defeat and improve upon. Here are some of my personal records that I am very proud of setting.
My most viewed article to date is my Five Best Holiday Destinations article. It has received a staggering 17,649 views to date. It was published on December 12th 2007. It has received 15 comments so far. It still regularly appears in my daily Top 5 most visited articles, even though I have written more than 100 new ones since this was written in late 2007. This is an article I am particularly proud of.
My most liked article is also the first article I ever wrote on Triond. On September 4th 2007, I wrote my very first Triond article, Halo: Overrated? Since then, it has received 95 likes. It has also received 3,999 views (oooh…so close to a nice round figure) and 17 comments. It has also earned me more than $9. This may seem like a paltry figure, but this article took me less than 15 minutes to write. I think $9 for 15 minutes of doing something I enjoy is actually quite a good payment.
My most commented article is also one of my most recently written articles. I wrote Three Writing Sites Where You Can Earn Cash on September 2nd 2009. It was published by Triond on the morning of September 3rd. Since then (less than 4 full days), it has received 59 comments, 88 likes and well more than 1,150 views. This, I feel, is quite an achievement in a time span of less than 96 hours. I really believe that this article could be my very first to exceed 100 likes and 100 comments.
My highest earning article is also my most viewed one. Yes, Five Best Holiday Destinations, which was written in December 2007 is my highest earning article to date. It has earned me $39.64 so far from 17,649 views. I believe that September 2009 will be the month when it will surpass $40.00 in royalties. This would also be a major personal milestone. I never believed when I signed up that I would actually be able to earn $40.00 from here overall. To do it from just 1 article would be absolutely phenomenal.
My most viewed picture is my photograph of My Playstation 3 Game Collection. This photograph was taken in November 2008 (my game collection has grown significantly since then) and has received 255 views to date. It has earned me $0.13 and has received 16 likes. Unforunately, it has yet to be commented on. Hopefully it will receive a comment eventually.
Hopefully you’ve enjoyed learning a little bit about my personal Triond records. Who knows, maybe I have even inspired you to write your own similar article. Whether or not you choose to, I hope you are all proud of your own records, be there better or worse than mine. Remember, all it takes to succeed is some hard work, a little inspiration and some luck. Always remember, you can make your own luck through hard work and effort!

It’s interesting to be able to see actual numbers to put things in perspective. It seems that articles are alot more marketable than short stories. I’ve been actively submitting since the end of June and have yet to have a story break the one hundred hit mark.

Very impressive. Your example definitely gives me hope and something to shoot for.

Except your highest earning article is only earning a little more than $2/1000 views. Even Bukisa pays higher than that ($3.49 per 1000 this month, I think) if you want to make real money, try eHow or Suite101, unless you’re just doing this for fun.
