I posted my first two Triond articles on February 12, 2008. I can’t believe it’s been three years already.
Three years ago today I posted ‘Age is Relative’ and ‘Mommy Can I Have?”
Since then, I have posted a plethora of pieces on parenting, Parkinson’s disease, and pets. I have mumbled a myriad of musings on marriage and mayhem. I’ve touched on technology and teenagers. I’ve created content concerning Christianity.
It has been three years of developing friendships with fellow writers. There have been way too many to mention by name, I would leave too many out. But I would like to say thank you so much to Nelson Doyle, Anne Lyken Garner, and Brian Daniel Stankich for being the first Trionders to welcome me here and for their advice and encouragement when I was a newbie and over the years.
I also want to thank my loyal readers and commenters who have faithfully followed me through my rantings and ravings, laughed at my attempts at humour, expressed indignation at the injustices I have shared, and responded politely to my pitiful attempts at poetry.
Kudos to those of you who read what I write about my faith in Christ and the Christian Scriptures even though you don’t agree with my conclusions.
I have posted almost 400 articles on Triond. I wrote a few for Associated Content, Helium, and Bukisa, and I have started 3 or 4 books, but I keep coming back to Triond. You guys are my cyber family. Thanks for sharing the insanity with me.

Karen, it’s the long term writers like yourself that is the backbone to Triond. We need to encourage the new ones coming on to stick it out and not give up quickly.

Karen, thank you for your support and encouragement these years past. Your attitude is awesome, and you certainly allow the joy of Christ to be seen in everything you do.
