My Suggestions to Triond

This is all about some ideas from me can make Triond even better than now.

We all love Triond since it is doing a great job of publishing the articles online and marketing it on the web. So the writers can do only the writing work without worrying about putting them in online and get money for that. But I personally feel that Triond should consider these things as well in their network sites for giving much better service than now.

In all Triond the sites we have the “I like” button, but we have no option if we don’t like the article. The comments also will be counts will make the good thing even if the comment says badly about the article. Why we need this? You all may know the statement made by the Google CEO that the internet is “cesspool” since it is getting populated with much poor quality contents. Many of the writers writing by considering only the views but without considering the content which they want to pass to the readers. This should not happen. If we have a button to tell our opinion that will make the quality of the contents in the Triond network better in the future.

Let say we are reading a post on Triond networked site. If we like the content much, then we will try to read more articles from the same author. But when we click the author name link the only articles he submitted in that category will be displayed. I mean if I am writing something about web and again writing something about online writing, then the reader who read my articles in web can’t find that I have written something in online writing category. I will like if the author published articles is displayed from a center place and displaying all the articles in all Triond sites.

These are just my ideas. There may be some advantages of having the current way. If you like what I liked just let the Triond team know by putting your comments.

I like the idea of being able to see all of the articles that someone has written rather than those on the same subject. I am not too sure about the “I DON’T like it” idea tho – if we want to do that then we can go to other sites on the net already. Many writers start their onlline writing ‘career’ on Triond and it would be way too negative for them to be slammed like this. We are sensitive beasties, after all! ;-) )

Hi R J Evans! You are right. It may affect writers. But some times I feel when reading some articles which very much vary from the heading.

Negative reviews would be great, authors should learn to accept and use negative criticism to their advantage, and for the benefit of readers. As it is now, “cesspool” is an accurate assessment.

I would also like to see comments rated, like on digg and reddit. You would be able to vote this comment down :)

Nishanthan, I like the way your mind works to come up with new ideas!

A link back to the main Triond profile of a writer listing all articles would be a useful addition
