Writing for Triond has been a learning experience for me.
I signed up with Triond in the early part of August. I was hoping to get some short stories published. I noticed the site while browsing one day. I thought I had nothing to lose, so I would try it.
I didn’t really think to start writing for publication on the Internet . I have always used writing as a hobby or a way to deal with emotions I could not express any other way.
I have been encouraged by other people who saw my work to try and have work published.
One of the things I like about the Triond site is that I can publish anything I write:
I am not limited in what I am able to submit for publication. I am free to use my imagination.
There have been times I have been declined for certain articles yet, I have fixed them and resubmitted them, usually they were accepted. After all that is what editors are for.
My wayward mind is always racing. I seem to at times jump from topic to topic, so really this type of writing suits me.
Another thing I like about Triond is the people. I appreciate the feedback I get from other writers and readers who view my work. I also enjoy reading some of the writers work.
Liane Schmidt, and Sydney Hazelton write wonderful articles. I was happy to add them as friends. I hope to add more writers in a reasonable, responsible manner.
I try to leave comments if I read an article or story I like. I really enjoy the feedback from the other writers. It made me feel very good when I started getting the feedback. I am glad to know there are people who are benefiting from my work.
I know not everyone is going to like everything I write. Not every person likes the same things. Really that is another thing about the site that is interesting. There is quite a variety of work there.
At first, I must admit I had, a little difficulty figuring out how to do some things on the site. I am not really well oriented with computers and thought this would also be a learning experience for me.
One of the things that is difficult is finding what will be a great work and what will be not so well liked. Each time I think I have an idea of what is working for me, it changes. Which I am sure my fellow writers will agree that is normal, people’s taste and interests change.
I have to say my impressions with Triond so far have been good. There are a few things I am still trying to learn such as promoting my work. Marketing is kind of a weakness. I don’t really join socializing sites. So, I read articles on how to promote my work.
I have noticed that some of my articles have shown up on the search engines.
I am still in the learning stages so far so good. I know things like these take time and patience, so I am still trying to learn how to best utilize the Triond site.

I’ve found that writing on the internet, no matter where I do it, is a learning process, and each type of site can teach you something different. Keep it up. It will pay off eventually. Good luck.

I started writing for Triond at the end of August. I’m having a similar experience. It’s great to have an outlet where we can just write what we enjoy writing. The hardest part for me is the marketing end as well.
