My Decision to Stay

The deciding factor in why I continue to write for Triond.

As all of my friends here know, I have had some issues with Triond for the past few weeks. I did walk away for awhile and did join Bukisa to keep myself busy from the pain I felt here. I have posted a few of my older writes there and have had a couple from Triond join my down line so things are going well there for now.

I really thought I would not come back here to write, but to be honest I missed all of the friends I made here. As you know a few of my posts here on Triond have been about how happy I was being here and how wonderful the people here are.

A couple of days ago I decided to give it a second chance and stay here. The deciding factor was not Triond the site but Triond my friends. I must say I have had some mixed reactions voiced to me about me but my close friends here ( and you know who you are) have left me many comments and sent me personal messages to let me know I would be missed if I left here. They are all each and everyone of them heart felt and made my decision very easy indeed.

I do not know whether I will post as much as I did in the past, because to be honest I still am hurt at what I went through, but like my earlier post stated I have forgiven but I will never forget. It is really hard when our feelings get hurt to get past those feelings, but you my friends are getting me through this rough patch and making me smile again when I check messages and mail.

Bukisa is a good site as far as I can tell and I am sure there are other sites out there that are also good, but Triond will always be my home. Without all of us here there would not be a Triond, we are the ones that make this place special each and everyone of us. Thank you all again for all of your support.

I feel that when I grow roots in a place its is hard for me to pick up and go. That’s whats happening to you , Lindalulu. You’ve grown roots here.

I’ve a same feel as you too. I spent less time on the internet. Just read a few works of my friends. My sister wants me to rest for a while until I’ve fully recovered from the sickness.

Take care and always wishing you the best.

    Your friend, Chan

So glad you decided to stay. I find the site a friendly place to be. I totally agree with Morgana. Once you ahve your roots into a place it is hard to change, so keep writing.

I’ve only been here a month, Linda, but I feel the friendship from people like you and I’m really glad that you are going to stay with Triond. I do enjoy reading your works.

I’m so thankful to God for hearing and answering my prayer in the affirmative way. Glad that you’re back, friend.

I Find that the triond community is much more appreciative, and I feel much more at home here, than at buskia.

    I am staying here too!
I dont have time for other, but for those who move, make sure you sign up under somebody who will promote you. Signing up under a new person means you will be working for them, but signing up under a long time user means they will be working for YOU! What I mean by this is that an established user will also want to promote you, not just themself

I’m fairly new to Triond so I don’t know about all the goings-on of the past, but you’re quite an articulate and coherent writer and if the Triond community is good enough for you, it’s good enough for me. Thanks for the encouragement!

I hear you. Triond was a great starting place for me, but I don’t write here as much anymore. It’s more about the community here and all the great people that I’ve come to know here. If it wasn’t for the great people that I’ve developed friendships with, then I wouldn’t be able to get through some of the hard spots that seem to keep hitting me. Stick around, at least for the comraderie! :)

I am so with you on this. I was feeling that way too, but after searching my heart, I have to say Triond is my first love…lol…I may write now and then on other sites, but I have been writing for Triond for over two years.

They have certainly earned my trust and I am blessed with some really GREAT Triond friends.

I’m like you. I am here for my friends but, I will not be writing here as much. I like the fact that my pieces that are strictly text and unique are getting more attention on other sites.

Welcome home again! I don’t do change well, either…esp when I’ve made so many friends here at Triond. All sites have their pros and cons so I’m staying with the one that gave me a chance to write about anything I desired to put onto paper…or, rather, into the computer!
And as for forgiving but not forgetting…I think that’s called Wisdom! ^_^

Welcome back to Triond. I have also joined Bukisa. I am still writing here on Triond because of the wonderful friends here and I hate change. Like Lauren said, the text only articles are a great peice to put on Bukisa.
    God Bless you,
    Chris

    Hi Ya Linda,
I left for a short while too, but I’m back now. I haven’t heard of Bukisa before, so I might check that site out but don’t plan on leaving Triond anymore.
