Most Popular Trionders: Interview with Liane Schmidt

Meet the author of some of the hottest content in Triond. Who is Liane and how does she make it?

In this interview, Liane Schmidt, one of the most popular writers in Triond, talks about her experience and shares some secrets to succeed. Check her answers:

-When and why did you join Triond in the first place?

-I joined Triond about 2 years ago. I was looking for an online writing avenue where I could write anything I wanted to and the earning potential was limitless.

-How would you describe the experience of being part of this community so far?

-Being a part of the Triond community has been a blessing in disguise for me. I have felt wholeheartedly supported by countless, talented authors and artists. I have been humbled over and over again by the comments and emails I have received by these gifted people reminding me that we are all universally interconnected.

-When did you start to write and why?

-I have been writing ever since I was a little girl. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved reading and writing. I used to get in trouble because I was supposed to be asleep and instead I was under the covers with a flashlight, reading a book. I wrote my first “book” with pictures I illustrated when I was about 8 years old called “The First Cat”. Then I went on to write, “The First Pizza”, etc. Child prodigy, I know…haha, and I have been keeping a diary since I was 12 years old.

-Which were your most popular articles? Did you expect that?

-In the beginning, some of the work I thought would be most popular would not be while others were. It was puzzling to me. I would come up with a unique title or a poem that moved me so I just assumed it would take off. And came to find that practical articles like B12 Shots: The Newest Energy Booster dealing with health became popular versus some of my more obscure poetic work. And now, two years later, I have a better feel for what work will become popular. Sometimes I’m wrong, but more often I’ve been able to accurately intuit which articles will become popular or hot content versus those that will not. In addition to that, I’ve realized that through hard work, the determination to keep learning and a commitment to making your dreams come true; the totality of these actions will ensure that all your work becomes popular.

-Can we find your work in other places else than Triond? (blog, books, etc)

-Currently, I am working on a novel series. I do have a blog as well, it is called: “Make the Most of Your Time” found at http://www.makethemostofyourtime.blogspot.com. I also spent about half a year freelance ghostwriting and have written two e-books and over 1000 during that time. Because that work was purchased and my name was not included (ghostwritten), I do not know where to find them, however one was about the fear of flying and the other was about self confidence.

-Do you remember any article about a friend which have impressed you in particular?

-I wish someone had asked me this question when I first started with Triond so I could keep track. There have been countless works I’ve read that really touched my heart. While I can’t remember all the titles, I can say, for those writers that I’ve left comments like “art at its finest” or “its been awhile since something has really captivated my attention”, please know these are the pieces that have truly stood out to me. You can find beauty in everything, but exceptional, gifted work, is a rare, amazing treasure to find.

-Which would be your advice for someone who is just starting here?

-I would say success is about patient persistence, commitment, hardwork, and belief in yourself. Some authors have been able to create popular content from day one, but if you are not one of those people, it does not mean that eventually your work will not begin to enjoy popularity beyond your greatest dreams as well. I once read, the only difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is that successful people do what unsuccessful people don’t want to do. If you look at Triond for what it is, a long-term earning avenue and find ways to make it as effective as possible, you will continue to experience increasing gains and fulfillment from it!

-Have you ever met a trionder in person?

-No.

-Can you imagine how could it be if we all meet in a Triond party?

-Interesting question. Since I can only speak for myself, I’d say that if I was able to show up I would use a “pen name” in lieu of my real name – - meet with a select few writers that I think are extraordinary and then politely excuse myself to rush home, put on my pjs and make a warm cozy cup of my new favorite tea vanilla honey chamomile. If someone asked me, what do you think of “Liane Schmidt” or have you met her yet I would say, “Who, does she writes for Triond?” and laugh.

-We have already seen your profile. Is there any other personal information you would like to share with the community?

-Just know that anything you’ve ever dreamed is possible. Brian Tracy is a self made millionaire who has a rag to riches story. JK Rowling was on food stamps. Halle Berry lived in a homeless shelter at one point. Jewel, the singer, lived in her car. Work hard, believe and know in your heart that you are making all your dreams come true. I was an abandoned baby, and yet somehow, for some reason, Maria thinks it’s worth her time and the Triond community’s time to interview me. The possibilities are truly limitless. Never let anyone tell you differently.

-Have you ever been interviewed before? How did you feel about it?

-I have been asked many questions about my success, advice, etc., but I have never been through a formal interview. This experience was like no other. It has meant more to me than words can ever fully express. Thank you with all my heart.
