Meet the author of some of the hottest content in Triond. Who is Lauren and how does she do it?
In this interview, Lauren Axelrod, one of the most popular writers in Triond, talks about her experience and shares some secrets to succeed. Check her answers:
Maria: -When and why did you join Triond in the first place?
Lauren:-I stumbled upon it accidentally when I was looking for writing sites to make a little fun cash from. I was already obsessed with writing poetry, short stories, and other genre’s but, I reformed a bit when I got here and mixed up my topics to target all areas of interest.
Maria: -How would you describe the experience of being part of this community so far?
Lauren:- -I love it here. I have met so many wonderful friends that I chat with everyday about life, business, and whatever is plaguing us that day. It really is a great support system with writers from all around the globe sharing their own unique style
Maria: -When did you start to write and why?
Lauren:- -I have been a writer since 4th grade but, I just started publishing online about 5 months ago. I felt the need to share my experiences which are a bit obscure but, nonetheless that’s me for better or worse. I have had a pretty interesting life so far so it’s nice to share it with others.
Maria: -Which were your most popular articles? Did you expect that?
Lauren:- -Hmmm, my most popular articles were
10 Spectacular Resorts From Around the Globe
20 Insanely Magnificent and Hilarious Creatures Caught on Film
8 Beautiful Historic Italian Churches
Sharks: Cruise Missiles of the Deep
Did I expect it? Not a chance, considering these were some of my very first pieces. I was lucky that some were submitted to partner sites with large profiles so the viewership was incredible and hard to beat.
Maria: -Can we find your work in other places else than Triond? (blog, books, etc)
Lauren: -There are so many places it’s hard to list all of them. I have 4 sites actually http://www.friendsrevolution.com, http://unorthodoxchef.today.com, http://www.squidoo.com/UnitingWriters, and an archeology site in the works. I try to feature most of articles on these sites as well as many other Triond writers. It’s my goal to try and get everyone more exposure. I don’t like to give out all my secrets but, once in a while I will take a dead article of a Triond writer and submit it to my secret site and within minutes, it gets over 100 hits.
Maria: -Do you remember any article about a friend which have impressed you in particular?
Lauren:- -There are so many that I wouldn’t want to point fingers but, I can tell you that there was one article that brought me to tears and that was Most Memorable Photographs of All Time by Lost in Arizona.
Maria: -Which would be your advice for someone who’s just starting here?
Lauren:- -Make friends wisely. I think that many people know that we try to keep this as much as a community as possible. Now, it is possible to succeed without friends on here by exploiting other friends from other sites but, I like to keep my friends close, my true friends that actually read my work.
Maria: -Have you ever met a “trionder” in person?
Lauren:- -No never. I would love that though. It would be fascinating to meet some of the writers on here.
Maria: -Can you imagine how could it be if we all meet in a Triond party?
Lauren:- -Well, I think I would be on the dance floor the whole time pulling all my girls out there to get our groove on and show off to the boys.
Maria: -We have already seen your profile. Is there any other personal information you would like to share with the community?
Lauren:- -Well, I think everyone knows that I like to ignite conversations but, deep down I am looking for something more. In some of my poetry, I created a sort of map to where my life will be going. It has clues, eluding to what I will become and where I am going.
Maria: -Have you ever been interviewed before? How did you feel about it?
Lauren:- -I have been interviewed before and I love it. I like sharing my experiences with everyone and I hope that I somehow become an inspiration to others to be the best they can be in all aspects of their lives.

Really nice and thought piece and approach. Way to go! I think we, indeed should have a live meeting some day. Multiples would no doubt be necessary in different parts of the country/world. Not everyone could always make it, but those that did would have lots to write about. Lol!
