It is not a bad option after all rather than writing daily and accumulating pages after pages of daily writing exercises which will be kept only for years in your hard drive until you will eventually get rid of it.
We oftentimes read the tips and testimonies of successful writers and one of the top most secret of their success is the daily writing exercise, a habit of writing on constant basis. It is the ability to write consistently which means pounding your keyboard at least half an hour each day with no excuses and failures.
There is no doubt that daily writing exercise will help sharpen your writing skills. Like a car engine, our brain needs warm up to set in our creative juices. However, a writer with a fulltime job, the time left for writing is very limited. If you have three hours only everyday for your writing and you will take ten minutes to think for the subject to write about for the half an hour daily writing exercise, you have not utilized this forty minutes effectively. Why not capitalize your half an hour daily writing exercise?
Before I always used to sit for half an hour or more in front of my laptop staring the blank screen while tickling my brain for a creative writing prompt of the day that I could write about. Sometimes if it was taking much time for me to think about it, I started to write a journal. This phase went on for a while until I discovered and realized why not monitize my daily writing exercises.
There are websites that accept any decent writings and showcase it to the world. The payment is usually proportionate to the number of generated page views of your articles. Though the earning is very minimal, it is still a good venue for exposure and marketing.
Type “online writing opportunities” in any of the search engines available and you will find plenty of options to start off
So far I have been using Triond as they accept quite a variety of writings as long as it is within the spectrum of decency.
Another site I considered is Reviewstream that accepts reviews on almost anything.
There are more similar sites you can find that will pay off your daily writing exercises.
It is not a bad option after all rather than writing daily and accumulating pages after pages of daily writing exercises which will be kept only for years in your hard drive until you will eventually get rid of it.
So, why not start monetizing your daily writing exercises?

I am tempted to say “No, I cannot do daily writing exercises because I have a full time job.” But then, there is always time. As of now, I am monetizing my writings through blogging.

Guys, thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it…
Rich, I agree with you. I oftentimes challenge to find time to write particularly in the industry I am working as we has long working hours. But when we love something, we simply cannot ignore the calling.
Cheers..
