Love

I’ve been happily married for many years.  I’m here to tell you that true love does exist.  You can have it too.  Learn to be yourself, love yourself and then true love will come to you.  I know, it sounds like a load of crap.  It’s not.  I became very cynical about love for a while in my life.

After going through a terrible first marriage and much heart ache I began to feel that love just didn’t exist.  I looked around at other married couples and every couple seemed to complain about their spouse, no one seemed happy.

One day, after I learned to love myself and accept being on my own I fell in love with the most wonderful woman.  We clicked on the first date and we both just knew within a week that it was true love.   We took our time getting to know each other spending every moment we could with each other.

We found out we had a lot in common but more importantly with both had differences that we could offer the relationship, which brought us each new experiences. 

Open your mind, open your heart.  Don’t try to make it happen but learn not to nitpick your significant others little quirks.  Accept them and live with them.  Because if you are truly in love the little quirks won’t bother you and they become endearing traits.

Soon, you’ll be writing love letters and love poems to the one you love.
