A few quick reviews.

L J Smith Books

Lissa Jane Smith is my favourite author; I just can’t put her books down! So if you’re stuck without a book to read and bored out of your mind, pop down to the library and read one of the following great books.

The Vampire Diaries (this is a series)

The Secret Circle (Also a Series)

Night World (Yet another series)

Dark Visions

The Forbidden Game

Here’s a couple of short reviews on each of the above.

The Vampire Diaries; is about a teenage girl, named Elena, who two guys fall in love with. Elena, of course as it is in most teen books, can’t choose between the two. But there is more to the two guys then she realises.

The Secret Circle; although is still a fantasy book, is a take on another type of fantasy. When Cassy moves to New Salem, she discovers there is quite a lot her mother hasn’t told her about her family and she knows nothing about her father. But in New Salem, all the info starts to surface.

Night World; is about all different sort of fantasy creatures of the night. And opens with a tale about a girl named Poppy who is dying from cancer. All though they may not seem connected at first, there is some sort of connection in each book and as the series progress it becomes more and more clear.

Dark Visions; is completely different to all of the above books. Instead of vampires and witches it is about humans… humans with special abilities. Humans with psychic abilities, including a girl who can draw the future and a few others.

The Forbidden Game; is again different. It is about a girl who buys a game for a get together and discovers herself in a whole new world when she starts playing. A world controlled by a demon who thinks he loves her!

I implore you all to read the above books and if you don’t know for sure whether you want to read them, watch a couple of the episodes of The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle, which are also now TV shows.
