Give it a KISS.
I’m hoping that you’re not thinking of the kissing moments here. If you do, I’m sorry to dismay you. This isn’t the kiss that couples love to do but rather the KISS that you might love to try doing.

Based upon my observations on the articles that I have read here, most of those short, specific and simply written articles are those with most comments which may mean that they got better views. In contrary, longer ones which are well done got lesser. I, myself love reading those shorter ones because it makes the interest stay there as you read and it won’t consume too much time as we are not just Triond members but we have a lot more roles to portray. So why not KISS your aticles? Keep It Short and Simple. In this way, your articles will be read by more and you’ll be able to write more. Partition of articles say like Part 1 and so on can make readers hang on and wait for more.

Excellent. I get bored while writing my own stuff if it gets too wordy.

You are right – more than 500-600 words and people stop reading, let alone commenting. People have busy lives and taking time out to read long articles doesn’t always fit into our schedules.

I prefer the shorter articles as we often have a lot of articles to comment on and it is difficult to devote the time to long artciles that they deserve. Good work.

I agree, as people usually will skip those long articles, or may just give a quick glance, unless really very patient, read word by word..

Great advice! I mostly write poems, but the articles I write, I try to keep somewhat short. I have written several articles in Part I, Part II, etc.

This is great advice. I try not to make my articles too long because I know that it takes time to read articles and people do not always have time to read long articles. I think it is easier to write articles in parts too. People will want to come back and read the next ones.

Short and sweet, I like it! Sometimes I am tempted to write longer articles though. Breaking it up into parts is a good idea.
