After spending a few weeks on Triond, I’m starting to understand how it all works, and I’m trying to help people out as much as I can, but it is hard.

(My Friend Tyler Took this pic with my camera)
As many of you I released an article Biggest Pet Peeve a few weeks ago and I would like to clarify, and take back some of the things said. I was new to Triond, and my money wasn’t flowing that well. I now have an average of 2cents or so rolling in each day, and I would like to thank you; my readers.
The thing I’ve realized about Triond is that it has a lot of people with a lot of ideas. I personally have found that when I log in, I usually get bombarded with 10-15 articles from my friends. As much as it hurts me to say this, I can’t, nor do I have the time to look at all of your post, because looking at 2-5 is probably my limit. I do however try and spread it all out, so please keep in mind that if you have 5 posts/day, I might only get to 1-3 of them. Which is why I try to limit myself to two.
I do try my best to comment on everything that I read though this can be difficult as well. Sometimes I will browser your story, but if its 2 pages of a story I tend to skim. If however you would like me to have a closer look at you work, I will. I just need to know what you truly want my opinion on, and what is just put up there for the general public. Don’t take is as being a jerk, I just have ADHD and can’t always spend the time to read five people’s stories.
For those of you that are interested in what is going on with me in my life, I am starting up a blog. The title is Life of a Teenage Writer and goes a bit more deeply into sharing stuff I can’t throw up here on Triond, as they say its advertising or something along those lines. It has writings that I’ve completed, am working on, and sites that I recommend for writer, and just people in general. Plus I don’t post everything here on
Triond, so you can only get it if you go there
I thank all of you for treating me so nicely since I’ve made my way over here, and I’d like to add it’s all of you that are keeping me here. God Bless and I continue doing my best to support all of you
P.S. A friend on Triond (not mentioning names) has brought it too my attention that some of my feedback is harsh. I’m sorry to here that some of you think that way, as I am only trying to give advice on how to help improve your writing. 10 comments of “wow that was great” is good for the soul, but a little constructive criticism is what helps you improve, and I figure since that is what I want, I might as well do the same for you. If you don’t want my true opinions I will tone it down, as I don’t want to lose any fan base, and or friends. Thanks.

I had a simular idea in mind for an article like this, I understand your feelings well.

You don’t need to be sorry, Izzy. We all make mistakes. The person probably would rather like it in private, though. Some people are embarrassed and angered upon hearing constant criticism from one person in particular all the time. At least they took the time to talk to you about it.
Good article, Izzy.

Thank you for your honesty. I know it is difficult to get through all the articles posted by friends in a day, especially if you work or are studying. I am just glad to hear from you when you have the time. Good luck with your website and your studies.

Many people post their work at the same time and it can be overwhelming . Like you, I also try to everyone’s work but I usually spread it out .

I don’t mind someone pointing out mistakes in my work. Sometimes it’s hard catching them yourself. It actually helps me do better when someone lets me know if I’ve made a typo or something. That at least gives me a chance to correct it, otherwise I probably never would have seen it myself. I also understand you not having time to go through all the articles. I’m just happy to hear your comments when you do get a chance to check them out. Good luck with everything!

How nice of you to apologize;though I have not seen those harsh remarks. We all live and learn.Debra is right in suggesting giving stern criticisms privately.I trust your”blog” is off to a good beginning!

Thank you all. I will try to keep critism private from now on, as I do think that all of your work is good

Kudos,Izzy,No need to sugarcoat it all, just we are all trying to make it in the writing world, and I know I speak for many when I say that many of us have had much pain or difficulty in our lives,Some of us have been around the block a couple of times and are trying to exercise our demons through expression, just as you are.As you know,I spend lots of private message time and love guys like you who shake thing up a bit.But we all know the time and commitment it takes, reading, writing, commenting. For me,I can’t wait to jump on the computer in the morning to see if something is published and good comments make us feel good.I’haven’t amassed a fortune either, but we can all learn, share and grow together!!!!!!So stay cool young brother, and every body root for MY SD CHARGERS this weekend!!!!!

Hey, strike me down if I never messed up. Yes, I would agree: Praise in public, Chastise in confidence. Nice article and I am sure all can relate.
Best wishes,
