HTML Codes You Can Use in the Triond Forum to Advertise Your Content Links
Advertise your contents in the forum. Make it look attractive by shortening your URL links through the use of HTML codes.
Let’s face it, the forum is the hottest thing to ever happen on Triond. It’s been so noisy in there and the excitement is so apparent. We all know we have waited for it for a long time. Arguably it’s the best place to get to know the Triond publishers, chat and hold discussions and definitely a good place to advertise our contents. It may not be a sure way to get a huge number of views but as I have observed through my own “ads” I did get a few views, at least that’s what I believe where they’ve come from.
I have noticed that a few have been posting their links but most would leave the whole long URL. Here are four ways to shorten those clickable URLs thus make it look attractive to click on. You can use these on other websites as well.
Example 1

This form can be used in the forum if you have shorter URL links to promote. This is what most of the link posters use by simply copying the link and pasting.

*Please note that you cannot use this form in the Triond forum but it might come handy anytime.
Also, I think the forum will look more organized if we create signatures with our name on top of our content link ads. Leave three spaces before leaving your signature to make it look something like this:

You may bookmark this article and as the need arise just copy and paste the codes and replace my sites (URL) and the title you want to come out with your own. Simple!

I sometimes go to “tinyurl.com” and get the http://long+lengthy_url+like+this?_one? shrunk down to like http://tinyurl.123abc.com
Great for quick conversion. Makes the hyperlink look …interesting.

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately, the html code that I’m trying to show automatically turns it into shortened links, the same thing happens if I post it here. Triond editor, Angela, tried to help me by using the code you can see now because according to my fix decline notification: “There is no way to turn off html to make the text appear the way you wish.” It works the same way.
To easily use it, simply copy the whole thing, from the < up to the >, then replace: http:www.healthmad.com/Health/10-Easy-Immune-Boosters.308969 with your URL as well as the title of your content that you want to appear in the forum. In my link example it’s 10 Easy Immune Boosters.
