Three short steps on strengthening online writing.
There are three ways to strengthen online writing. Keep the writing simple using brevity and conciseness. Maintain simplicity when writing online because the reader for the most part is surfing looking for something to read of interest. Simplicity is the first key to getting their attention. Keep the writing on a level that is not too advanced for the online readership. Readers should not have to surf on line with a dictionary to figure out what you are trying to write about. You write to be understood and to inform. Online writing should be smooth and easy.
Use brevity when online writing. Brevity means to keep the information brief and connected to the subject. Brevity is the second key to strengthening your online writing. You are not writing a thesis and do not want the reader to skip your writing because of its book-like features. Readers lose interest after a few words if you do not tap into your interesting and simplistic subject after a few introductory words. Conciseness is the third key to strengthening your online writing. A good rule of thumb is to maintain between 450 and 500 words to explain your subject. Writing with simplicity, brevity and conciseness is sure to strengthen your online writing.
