How to (Not) Start on Line Writing

I have to say that as a native Dutch speaker, writing in English was something like a challenge to me, but getting acquainted with on line writing communities, I found out that it is awarding, also when you are a non native English speaker.

For me, writing is my passion and my hobby. Why on line?

Well, it is my way to get published, without having to put too much time and efforts in it.

Why I do not want to make a living from it?

Honestly, I am a quite emotional person and do have my dips and writer’s blocks. On line writing is some kind of therapy to me and hoping for a better day and inspiring others to it.

I am working on a horror novel, but the jealousy of some people I considered friends gave me a setback.

Yes, writing a creepy gory horror novel to get the dirt out of my soul has always been my biggest dream. Don’t know why, but romantic fairy tales are not much my thing.

I presume I am too socially committed to be a great romantic writer. It is not my thing. I just admit that. Do I hate romantic art? No, I can enjoy it myself from time to time, but do not consider me a huge fan.

I like horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy and whatever, but do not make me read the complete Bouquet series, or I go mad.

I like to be a rebel. Maybe that is also why I like good rebel folk music and allegoric metal. I adore Celtic culture and all things mythical.

Yes, I am a spiritist and consider on writing my memoires as a medium as well. No, I am not commercially occupied with that, but I am a good tarot reader and like to turn this passion into a hobby as well.

The occult and the struggle between good and evil always fascinated me. I do like to write more about this in time, while I keep my feminist opinions and hope I might inspire others.

I will write soon about the things that inspired me.

So I feel we all should express ourselves. Maybe I am more of an activist than an entertainer, but still …

The only reason you should not start an on line career is to make fast money, since I guarantee you that this is not the right commitment.
