How to Make Your Content “Hot”

This guide will tell you everything you need to know about getting your articles a lot of clicks: You don’t even need to use outside websites!

Every user on
Triond.com
or any other pay-to-publish website has the desire to get his or her article viewed. The more times it is viewed, the more income you generate.

When I log on to Triond.com, I’m always jealous of the “hot content” section. This section is where everybody sees who is doing the best with an article at that point. I click on them to see what their magic is. Nothing special.

Truly, you or me could be up on this “hot content” wall. All it takes is a little luck and your content hits will rise exponentially.

The first thing people do in order to view things like your article is typing in a keyword. If they type in a keyword you’ve chosen into their search engine, your article could maybe get seen! To exponentially increase your chances of getting your article seen is to use a common keyword or tag. These can usually be found to the right side of Triond’s sites if you’re having trouble finding them. So, use “love” instead of “infatuation” (just an example).

Once searched for, a keyword will bring up several matching pages. This could sometimes be into the thousands, so it is important that you have a catchy title for your article. For me, I always click on the ones that pique my interest. Instead of “How to Climb,” use, “How to Not Fall” (again, another example). Also, an article that gives away too much in its title will yield less. If a reader is immediately disinterested they will not click on it. But if they are somewhat unclear on what it’s exactly about, they will most likely go for it.

The next thing seen is your sentences immediately under your title. These should add to the title and again, pique the reader’s interest. I generally go for the basic structure of: If you want to know more about _________, then this __________ is for you. Make the reader want to read it, but don’t give away too much.

Once they click on it, the reader will read your content! If they like it, they will read the article through and maybe give it a “Liked It,” or maybe even leave a comment. These would be in your favor since people generally click on an article more if there is lots of activity in it.

If your article brings in enough hits, you too could maybe be up on the “Hot Content” wall.

Happy writing and hopefully money making!

    Hi Conner,
You made some good thoughtful points about titles and subtitles. Good work!
