Yes, you can make significant money contributing to Triond. Here’s how I did it.
Many serious writers don’t believe you can make real income writing online. Although I have yet to make a fortune sharing my thoughts online, I’ve certainly made a substantial part time income. Triond is one of several sites where I submit content to get paid for page views and I’ve enjoyed a nice return on my time. At the current time I’m averaging around $250.00 per month in profits for page views and plan on tripling that amount over time. This return is only for Triond and I write for several other sites that also pays for page views.
I was not always so convinced that Triond would be a success. When I first joined Triond in March of 2007, I eagerly submitted a few articles with starry-eyed visions of large page view payments deposited in my Paypal account. After the first month at Triond, my bubble was burst when I received a grand total of $0.75 in page view bonuses. After that letdown, I chose to take a break from writing for Triond and concentrate on other online writing opportunities.
After ignoring Triond for several months, I continued to get deposits into my Paypal account each month for the articles I had previously published. Although they were hardly substantial, they appeared to be rising on a monthly basis. Such is the power of page views. Once you’ve submitted content, it can continue to be read for many months to come. Inspired by these observations, I started to tentatively contribute a few new articles. Thing were starting to slowly heat up. My big break came when I wrote this article . Much to my surprise it made the front page of Digg which resulted in a massive number of page views and over $50.00 in page view bonuses. That definitely caught my attention. From that point on, I started to contribute a few articles each day to Triond and have watched my page view bonuses gradually rise. My biggest article earned over $100.00 in page views after a large blog picked it up.
Why am I telling you this? Persistence and consistency pays off. When you contribute content regularly, you gradually build up a repository that will keep earning for you. Don’t give up after the first month. Set short-term and long-term goals for yourself and keep writing and learning. Over the next few months I will be regularly contributing articles giving you ideas on how to increase your income writing on Triond. Stay tuned and hang in there!

Thanks for the article Kristie! I only made a few cents myself here at first, but I noticed things slowly starting to rise over time. This is a very inspiring article, I think I’ll keep working on Triond! Please write more articles on this!

I just hit the $20.00 mark total, which doesn’t seem like a lot, but its been about a month and a half since I joined, and I’m picking up steam.
Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Thank you for the encouragement. I have seen my total go up each day from 1 to 2 pennies per day up to a few per day. I’m just starting out, though.
This helps a lot.

Not been on Triond very long but the cents are rising daily, my thrill was seeing 3cents clock up while I was reading through something! This is an encouraging article.

After trying several of the other writing sites I can honestly testify that Triond is undoubtedly the best site for writers. Many of the other sites, which I will not mention by name, are just crooks.

Thanks for the article, Kristie. You are absolutely right here. I think a lot of people join Triond with that PayPal account in mind and rubbing their hands in anticipation of the dosh pouring in. I certainly did, although my avarice too was short lived with a disappointing first month’s income. I think the most important word when involved in online writing is PERSEVERENCE. When the big hitter comes, it can often be a surprise. I threw together an article one Sunday evening and much to my surprise it went what some people call “viral” and hit 100K hits within the week. Finding what people want to read can often involve serendipity!
Then there are, as you have mentioned, what I call my “residuals” - they are the articles I published previous to the current month that still garner a number of views. Everything adds up, little by little!
Anyway, thanks again for the article, it is useful to all of us, particulalrly new writers on Triond who may need some encouragement!

I too used to only make a few cents a month on triond but that number is going up. This article gives me hope for my own dreams of making several hundred dollars a month.

Hi Kristie,
Thanks for sharing what you are making. I’m sure it will prove to be an inspiration for everyone.

I think you are right. You need to contribute regularly and not just a couple of articles and that is it. I resolute to submit one article a week for now. Thanks for the encouragement and good luck to you.

Thanks for this article. I’m new to the Triond community. I’ve only written one article. This gets me wanting to submit more articles.

I am sort of new to the Triond community - going on 3 full months now and I also licked my lips in hopes of being discovered and making millions from eager readers - but of course that hasn’t happened. I’ve had just over 1100 views for everything that has published - so I’ve made my first dollar within the past week. It is discouraging when you feel you put your heart and soul in something you write and it just “lays” there. Thanks for the inspiration within your article…

I thought I was crazy to set my goal of at least an article a day but hell I am going to do it now. even if its a small poetry article that only gets 30 veiws a month. jeez if you have 20 of those and then a couple big articles. you never know.

I should have read this earlier. I joined Triond during June and I only continued writing late October. I now see an increase to my earnings. The key is really to be consistent and persistent.
Thanks!

This was a great informative artice. I had fun reading it! I’m definitely going to hang in there with Triond and hope that one day I can make a decent part-time living wage. Either way, I greatly enjoy writing and letting people read my work!

Nice article, but it told us to continue using triond, more than it actually told us how to do that
