How to Find and Use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool

Generate keyword phrases with Google’s AdWords analyser.

When writing articles, it helps to optimize them with appropriate keywords so that searchers can find what they are looking for.

Google has a free keyword tool that can help you in your keyword search to generate keywords and keywords phrases for your articles.

Using a keyword research tool can help you to write a better article. The keyword search tool lends itself to keyword suggestion-and I’m always surprised at the phrases that come up.

  1. Navigating Google’s site can be confusing and finding the AdWords keyword tool can be an even greater challenge. Instead, type: “google adwords keyword tool” into your browser.
  2. A page will open. You’ll see a link that reads: Google AdWords: Keyword Tool.
  3. Click on it
  4. Another page will open. Scroll down until you see a white horizontal box on the right.
  5. Enter your keyword or keyword phrase, as directed
  6. Click on the dark grey box where it says: Get keyword ideas
  7. Scroll down and wait. You’ll notice colored balls rolling back and forth as the keyword tool goes to work.

  9. Decide which terms you want to use in your article
  10. Jot these down and get busy crafting an article that is sprinkled with keywords and phrases that make it easy to find

Using the AdWords tool is a good strategy and it is easy to implement once you know where to look and what to do. If you aren’t using a keyword tool when writing your articles, you may be leaving readers behind.
