How to be Successful Online Writer 1

This is the first article of the series how to be successful as an online writer The series is written specially for those who want to start there writing career online through blogging or article writing and also want to earn some extra money doing this. However experienced writer will also benefit from this series.

Of course every on line writer (whether starting his/her career or even he is experienced) wants to be famous. He wishes to have a big fan following, people waiting for your articles to get published, different websites offering you a handsome amount to writer for them and so on. There is nothing wrong in wishing all this. But practically speaking if you are a new writer just trying to make some ground, It will be very hard to achieve all this in a night .In fact to be a famous and successful writer on line is a lot harder than doing it offline. On the Internet there are thousands of writers, yes every writer has his own area of expertise (which we call niche). But even then you have a strong competition.

So in order to be a successful on line writer you have to work hard. To start your writing career the first thing you have to do is to find a place to write. The best choice you have is your own “Blog” or a content sharing website. Most of the people start “Blogging” but one tip I would like to share is that in the start it is always better to join a “Blogging” network or community rather than having your own individual “Blog”. As when you join a “Blogging: network you get a lot more readership with a very little effort. There is another advantage as well, you can meet different writers and can read see there content, you can also see what’s hot and what people like to read. You can also check different writing styles so that you will know how to write a “Blog”.You can write at multiple places as well but for beginners it is never recommended. Find a place or start a “Blog” and stick with it.

Great!  now you have got a place to write, Now you can start writing, as I said earlier be practical in your approach of course you are not going to have 1000 readers in 2 days, It takes time and some time might seem a tall order One can get frustrated when you don’t get noticed even after writing 50 articles. You start feeling that for whom I am writing all this, no one is reading, this is the stage when most of us give up. But I once read somewhere that “A winner never quits and a quitter never wins”. So to be successful you have to be a winner rather than a quitter.
