How to Add Your Triond Article Feed to Your Hubpages

Shine a spotlight on your Triond articles by including your Triond article Feeds in your HubPages.

To some people, the whole concept of Feeds is confusing. Basically a Feed points others to your articles. You can include your Feed as a handy method of adding multiple article links (with article descriptions) to a page.

Instead of having to manually type in your article title and then hyper-linking to same, a Feed does all of this for you. Using Triond article Feeds directs readers to your Triond articles.

Okay, this sounds good but how the heck do I add my Triond article Feed, much less find the darn thing?

Think about the type of articles you want to add to your HubPages. If you’ve written a Hub on car maintenance; logically, if you’ve written articles about vehicles at Triond, this particular article Feed would be a good one to add to your HubPage, pointing readers to additional articles about a subject they are already interested in.

Adding Triond Article Feeds Painlessly

  1. Hit Triond’s Content tab and scroll through your articles until you come to one that is related to a category you want to direct readers to. Open the article and go to the top where you see your name.
  2. Click on your name, where it says: by ———.
  3. Another page will open displaying your related articles.
  4. You’ll notice is says “Subscribe by RSS.”
  5. Right-click on the square orange button.
  6. A drop down menu allows you to “Send Link. . . “
  7. An e-mail box opens with the Feed URL in blue. Run your mouse over it to highlight it and copy it (right-click and hit “Copy”).
  8. Now, sign in to HubPages, find your Hub on car maintenance and select “Edit.”
  9. On the right, under “Add More Stuff” find and click on the horizontal bar with the orange Feed RSS button.
  10. The Feed capsule will be added at the bottom of your HubPage.
  11. Scroll down and hit “Edit” to open the Feed capsule.
  12. Insert/paste your Triond Feed URL where is says “Feed URL.”
  13. Choose to display 8 items (the maximum number).
  14. Under “Display Method” choose “Shortened Description.”
  15. Then hit “Save.”
  16. Scroll to the top of your HubPage and hit “Done Editing.”

What Does your New Triond Article Feed Look Like on Your HubPage?

I incorporated my Triond article Feed in my HubPage entitled Lower Cholesterol Naturally. If you look over on the right, below the Poll, you’ll see “Health Articles.” These are my Triond articles. You’ll see the article titles as well as a description of each of the articles.

This is a great way to increase your Triond article views. Your Hubs can work away in the background, directing readers to your Triond articles.

Use your Triond article Feed whenever and wherever possible.

    Hi Melody,
What I like about including the Feed at HubPages is that readers can read snips of your articles, which naturally peaks interest, if it’s a subject that interests them.

I know for myself, often, it’s the description that compels me to click through and read an article.

The process is relatively easy, once you get on to it. Let me know how you make out.

I just noticed something else, which is great news. If you have Kontera implemented on your HubPages, text link ads appear in your Triond Feed. What this means is additional revenue for Hubbers who include their Triond Feeds!

I checked to make sure the link in this article pointed to my HubPages Feed and noticed the text link ads in the Feed.

hi, I like this article. I have been wanting to find ways to get people to read more. I’m not really here to earn money, I’m just wanting people to read the things I have to say. I write poems and stories and sometimes other things. But, I’m willing to learn how to get more readers any way I can.

Doing all the instructions in adding triond article feed to hubpages, I noticed that the first 8 articles from my triond are displayed, in which some of the articles displayed are not relevant to the viewed hubpage article. This is my question: How can I display my triond article to my relevant topic in hubpage?

    Hi Beth,
We used to be able to go to an article, then click on the orange feed button but the Triond site has been revamped. I used to do this to grab the feed in specific article categories but don’t see this functionality at present. You may have to copy/paste the URLs of the articles you want to use. Hubpages usually allows two links.

You could include the feed at your blog and just give it a generic name. The advantage of using the feed at your blog is that this gives frequently updated content.
