Since April I have spent most of my days in front of my computer screen trying to make extra cash, and I must say that I could have spent my time elsewhere.
I started blogging a few months ago and I really thought that it would be a good way to earn some extra money. I am sure for a lot of people that is the case, but as for me, I don’t seem to be getting anywhere. I was doing pretty well until Google decided to cancel my AdSense account. I won’t bother retelling that story here as I have written an article all about it and you can read it at http://webupon.com/money-making/is-blogging-really-a-good-way-to-make-extra-cash/. This article has had 155 views so far which is great but it has only made me 27 cents! A quarter and two pennies, that’s all! I am very disappointed. I have 19 articles that have been published by Triond.com on various websites and my earnings are only at $1.23! I realize that most people are not going to become rich doing this type of writing, but I really think that all the hours that I and others like me have spent writing deserve a little more than the amounts which I have just stated.
I also write for Squidoo.com, which I am sorry to say has brought me no money so far whatsoever. I only have two lenses as they call them there, but hardly any views at all. I also have a few articles which I have written for Bukisa.com but those have only produced about 19 cents for me.
Why does this have to be so difficult? I really enjoy writing and sharing my opinions and thoughts on different subjects but it just does not seem like it is going to get me anywhere financially. I wonder if any of you who write for these companies have ever felt the same way as I do. Have you ever felt as if you were just wasting your time, or do you still enjoy writing even though you are not making as much money as you thought you would? Perhaps your articles are bringing you in a fortune and if so please let me know some tips.

I share my articles using Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit and Article Pinger as well as showing them on my three blogs, jedopi, 3BagsWool, and Veg on the Web, but it hasn’t done much good. These next three pictures are from my blogs. I would really appreciate it if you could find the time to check them out and tell me what you think. Perhaps there are some expert bloggers out there who could give me some money making tips. I realize that some bloggers just write for the love of writing, but I would really like to make some cash doing this.
As you can see from my blog headers that jedopi is mainly about myself, my health condition (Fibromyalgia) and family. I have had Fibromyalgia for the last ten years so if really is a big part of my life and the reason that I am still at home even though my children are all in school full time. It is why I am at home trying to make some money to help out my husband who has had to bear the burden of supporting all six of us for all these years.
3BagsWool is where I like to share the items that I have created using knitting and crocheting. I have sold some of my toy designs but not online. I sold them through garage sales and I wish now that I hadn’t because they were worth a lot more money than what I got paid for them. There were a few animals that I made and a scarecrow which turned out really well and a few others, but I can’t remember what they were now. I have given many away as gifts and I really enjoy making toys for the children in my family, but now that they are all getting older they don’t really want new ones. They still enjoy the ones that I made when they were younger and still keep them on their beds.
My last blog, Veg on the Web is where I like to give my ideas and recipes that I have come up with since becoming a new vegetarian. I have had a lot of vegans and some vegetarians tell me that I am not actually vegetarian at all because I still eat fish (sometimes), eggs and dairy. But as I said I am new to this lifestyle and I am not perfect. I never set out to be a vegan, I just wanted to eliminate meat (land animals/birds) from my diet. I have succeeded in doing so and as far as I am concerned, that does make me vegetarian. There are some vegetarians that eat fish, but not dairy or eggs, or any combination of these three things. There are also some that include poultry, but not beef or pork. I think as long as you try your best not to eat living things then you can consider yourself vegetarian. But getting back to my blog, whether you are vegetarian or not you can still enjoy the recipes that I have started to share.

I also write comments and start discussions on myLot which has made me a little over five dollars since the beginning of last month. It has been the fastest earner for me, but you have to write a lot to be able to earn anything at all. If anyone has any tips, tricks, or advice (no scams please) on how to make extra money on the internet through writing please let me know. I do not want to click on any more ads, or read boring emails. I have tried that and it is an even bigger waste of time than everything I have mentioned already. I would love to have an actual online job, and not just make a few dollars and cents here and there. Any help would really be appreciated and please don’t forget to visit my articles and blogs.
