How Much Can I Make Publishing Articles Online Using Triond?

Whenever I bring the idea of making money online using Triond to friends and family, they tend to scoff at the idea.  They say, “You’re not going to be able to live off of that.”

The idea is not to make enough money to live on; the idea is to earn a passive income.  There are many ways to earn passive income.  I like publishing over other forms of passive income because I only need to do the work one time.  After that, I just sit back and watch the income grow.

Owning a business requires maintenance.  Owning rental property requires a large upfront investment and additional responsibilities.  Publishing articles online can be done in my free time.  I can work as much, or as little as I want.  The more work I put into publishing, the more profits I will see. 

My current profit is small, but I am only doing this as a hobby at the moment.

Let’s image you can write one article a day over the course of a year.  That is 365 articles.  Now, let’s image that you are earning an average of one cent per article per day.  That might be a high estimate for a new writer, but that is probably a low estimate for someone who has written 365 articles.

The math will be a little complicated to calculate in the first year, since only one will have been posted for the entire year.  Let’s imagine how much you will make in the second year.

365 articles * $0.01 per day = $3.65 per day for all articles

$3.65 per day * 365 days per year = $1332.25

This does not take into account taxes, and other potential fees, but this is more than I am earning from my savings account.  Also, keep in mind that these articles will remain online for as long as you keep them up there.  Imagine earning an extra $1332.25 per year from some articles that you wrote in high school or college.  That sounds like a good deal to me.
