I often find that where I get a lot of hits for one particular subject, when I write a follow up it only gets a fraction of the hits (despite the fact that often it is a better article!). My advice here - don't number articles - ie "Five Ways to Walk To Work 1" and so on! Find an interesting unique title for each - it works a lot better! There is the "copycat" factor too of course - people see an article in the Hot COntent and then go and write something very similar.
