Want your article to appear in the Hot Content list on Triond? What type of topics have these writers written about? I went on to analyze the different topics in the Hot Content area and found that there are some special characteristics. Here are some topic suggestions which may help you get into the Top 10 list of articles featured by Triond.
Music is a universal language. Everyone loves to listen to songs and music at any time – both at work and at play. Thus, topics about songs and music will capture a large interested audience. However, try to write something which is rather general as not everyone will like your taste of songs and music. Nelson Doyle, one of the most popular Triond writers, has written several articles in this area. One of them has topped the chart for an extensive period of time. It is called Music Rules 2: Top 45 Music Websites That Deliver the Greatest Free Music.
People are curious about things in general. Things that are different from their normal state of being are very fascinating. One example is an article entitled 20 Most Bizarre Congenital Defects/Abnormalities by Nobert Soloria Bermosa.
The dread of work has pushed many people to look for something fun to do when there are not working, worse still when they are working! The internet has opened a whole new definition of fun. It used to be that you have to be at a certain place to have fun such as the movies or the beach or the bowling alley. But now, you can even have fun when you are at home or at work, as long as you are connected to the internet. R J Evans wrote about 10 Awesome Interactive Websites and 10 Wonderful Websites with Which to Waste Time at Work. Both are in the top 10 positions in the Hot Content area.
The marketing and PR professionals would never underestimate the power of the word “FREE”! With the high cost of living, people are always looking at how they can save money doing things they like. People used to believe that the higher the price, the better the quality. But not anymore. Free stuff can be as good or even better than paid products or services. Thus, why pay when you can get them for FREE! GeekReviews wrote Stop: Don’t Pay Another Dollar for Your Anti Virus When You Have So Many Other Great Free Options.
There are many things in nature that we still do not understand. I believe that cures for so-called “incurable diseases” are probably lurking around the corner of your own garden or backyard. Furthermore, many people feel a sense of peace when they are in nature. So, if you can write about the wonders of nature, you may have that winning article. Nobert Soloria Bermosa wrote about Spectacular Trees From Around the World and managed to top the charts. Writing about the destructive forces of nature may also get you in the Hot Content area like this article 10 Most Destructive Tornadoes From Around the World by Nelson Doyle.
The next time you think of articles to write about, bear in mind these topics. You may end up writing one of the most popular articles in Triond. Happy writing!

Hey there! Thanks for the name check! There is, of course, the law of diminishing returns! I often find that where I get a lot of hits for one particular subject, when I write a follow up it only gets a fraction of the hits (despite the fact that often it is a better article!). My advice here – don’t number articles – ie “Five Ways to Walk To Work 1″ and so on! Find an interesting unique title for each – it works a lot better! There is the “copycat” factor too of course – people see an article in the Hot COntent and then go and write something very similar. The best trick is to keep one step ahead of everyone else and write something original!!
Easy to say, I know!

Good advice. For me, the hardest part of any story, is to get STARTED. Procrastination, etc. Once I write a few paragraphs though, the need to tell expands.
I wait ‘a day’ or so, re-reading what I have written and I have to say it, it is then that it is ‘punch-up time!’. THAT is where the ‘creative writing’ for me happens. Refining, saying more with less (not something that I am any good at.)
Great advice, article.

Thank you for sharing this information, it has been very useful. It does sound like allot of work, unlike many of those ads on the net which claim to make you rich instantly – then charge you for some misleading product. I shall give this a try
