Nice work James. I have a question. How did you first of all save a screen shot and second of all embed it into your article? Something I have never quite figured out.

Hi RJ – Don’t ask a Micrsoft Paint Junkie that!
    1. Go to Accessories
    2. Open Microsoft Paint
    3. File > New
    4. Open Web site you need to Screen shot
    5. Hold Shift + Pnt Screen or on some machines Print Screen
    6. Go back to Microsoft Paint and Do Paste
    7. The Sceen Dump will now appear as a New Paint file
    8. On the Menu Bar to the Left choose the Select Tool – it is a square
    9. Choose the Area that you want to capture. You won’t want all of the screen just the pertinant area
    10. Select Cut – the area that you have selected will disappear
    11. Close the Paint file – you will be promted to Save – Select No
    12. Don’t fret – that which has disappeared is on your Clipboard
    11. Select New in Microsoft Paint
12 A new Paint doc will appear as a big white square
    13. Toggle the white square to a smaller size than the area that you selected or you will have too much white space around your selected Screen shot or dump
    13. Select > Paste
    14. Your Screen Dump will appear as a New PaintImage
15 Save onto your Drive or Desktop or in you Folder
    16. You might want to add words, spray paint or color have fun be creative or just leave it
    17. There you have it – a beautiful screen shot that is now a .jpeg file that you can upload into Triond

This is a handy Web designers tool because you can capture any image and use Microsoft Paint to alter it. I actually prefer Paint to Photoshop doin all my image work with the wonderful accessory.

I hope this helps you – I can feel a Microsoft Paint article coming on!

    Ha ha
    Stay cool man . j

Good review. I think it could be good to have some back up of your docs online too.

Thanks James for sharing this information. It sounds interesting and I will give it a go, just as soon as I have a little extra time to spend tinkering with the full range of functions.

    God Bless,
