Freelance Writing: Allvoices Website Review

Allvoices is a new website that will pay for your opinion or news stories. They focus on global news and personal opinion. They’re similar to Ground Report. I tried Ground Report but they didn’t pay me after the first month so I quit writing for them. Allvoices is in San Francisco. They pay via page views. You  get pay by checks only and it’s not by pay pal. They’re new and they’re still putting things together. They have an incentive program that pays writers for every milestone that they have reached. They change this program every few months. I think they’re still working on a payment plan. They don’t pay very high. They pay you $.25 for every 1000 page views where other websites would pay you $2 for every 1000 page views. This is not too high comparing to other websites.

You get pay once you have reached a certain milestone. They allow people to earn up to $10,000 from their website. They pay via checks and you have to send them a W-9 in order to get pay. They are still changing their policy since they’re only about a year old. I went to the website and I like their layout. There’re many stories on there from people all over the world. It’s interesting to read all of those news stories on there. You can share photo, news stories and personal opinion and get pay for it. They run ads on their website. They also share their news stories to other News companies. They might pass your stories on to other companies. You retain all rights to your articles. They have all sort of topics there. You can write on any topics that you like as long as it’s news like.

I’m not writing for them yet because they’re too new. A new company will still have problems within their company. They’re not sure on how to pay people yet and they only pay via checks which is inconvenient. They should pay via paypal. They pay less than other websites which is why I don’t want to spend too much time writing for them yet. They are still experimenting with the market. I didn’t get pay once with a new company so I’m reluctant to give a new company all of my time.
