Freelance Writers Wanted

This heading is common on most academic online writing websites today.

Employers are looking for experienced, qualified & skilled writers who can attract attention or bring in the big bucks for them. Often we see these adverts & get excited in wanting to apply. There are actually some of us who applied & got rejected. Wanting to work for these companies take effort, skill, dedication & patience.

What does it take to be qualified for one these writing jobs? There’s lots of companies on-line seeking skilled professional freelance writers to become apart of their team. This however might seem hopeful for a Triond writer like me. What though can get a writer like me a job from one of these companies?

There are plenty of writers on-line from different countries around the world. That only means that the competition is extremely stiff. As a writer for Triond, plenty of us have no experience or degree in writing. We stumbled on this site and thought we might give it a try to earn some extra funds. When we realize how small the revenue is from writing, we tend to get disappointed and start fishing for other money making writing opportunities.

Why we should stick to Triond for now?

Triond is a place where we learn and earn a stipend for trying. It is like the owners are paying us to learn to write. When we stay on Triond, we build our profile and our writing skills so that when we go fishing, we can say we have our fishing gears.

The companies that are hiring and paying the large bucks are looking for someone qualified to pay. When they see that you already have a profile and you are already writing, they consider giving you a try. Your job is to now see to it that your work is well done. Being qualified does not necessarily mean that you have to have a degree. It is the quality of work that you have done and the experience you have.

The next time you see an ad that says, writers wanted, think twice and consider if your work is good or if you have that commitment to devote so soon to a company that is expecting you to work magic for them in delivering their work?

I like your article, and I too, thought I was going to make really big dollar$s writing here…unfortunately that is not the case. Although I do bring in enought to get a double cheeseburger, I found that I write mainly because I like writing, and hopefully someone can spot what little talent I have and take a chance on a lil roast beef…..GREAT ARTICLE!!!

I’ve realized myself great ideas and a full inkwell doesn’t always equate to bucks. The experience and interaction is key to honing the skills for great writers. Really great article on our endeavors. Finely crafted!

This is completely true. We have to learn to walk before we can run as the saying goes. Triond is a good place to develope your writing skills and to start building a portfolio.

Although I have branched out from Triond, I still consider it the premier place for me to add to my writing skills.

I’ve made a total commitment to Triond but I understood why others feel the need to look some where else.
