Well I think that anyone here wants more views and of course more comments in our articles. I use those 5 techniques in order to get more views in my articles or someone else’s articles which are worth visiting!
Create topics in the forums you are registered. Use an attractive article, write a few words and then place the link. Ask them what do they think about the article and place a comment in your article or inside the topic.
Share your article with friends and family. I am sure they will be proud of your writing skills and surely they will share your article to their friends in order to help you. If you uploaded pictures of you or your friends, those photos will be popular amongst the people you love and care!
Use stumbleupon and digg. Yes I know that many have mentioned it, but I get many views from stumbleupon. I don’t get many diggs but I think that many people see my content from digg
When finishing an article, type “further reading” and then some links of your favourite articles in order for the reader to continue reading an article of yours or even a good article from a friend.
Place your articles in your signatures or your profile in facebook, email, forums etc. I assure you that thousands of people have visited my links placed in my signature! Don’t forget to write an attractive description with your links in order for more people to visit your articles.
If you have any questions or comments about those tips, feel free to do it in the comments area!
Cool good bit of info. I’m a new user had a few views in first couple days then starting to get less. Do you know how theny decide what pieces to list first if you do a content search?
I also use “further reading” to gain readership in most articles as I finish it, but I reworded it as “related reading.” In that manner, I can link to articles relevant to what I wrote, including other content from other sites and my own content too.
I like the forum idea – I never thought of that – I wish there was a way that we could form a group where all the members can post their articles and share them with the group members (to get tips, pointers, edits, added points, more visability and readership, etc.)
