Five things you shouldn’t write about in Triond.
Well… you’ve got well over 50 articles, and you still get only 5 dollars a month. Why is that? Well, partly the reason is that your articles are outdated, or aren’t a very popular topic. I’ll explain what things should be written, and what shouldn’t.
1. Outdated facts
I mean, who would care about something like Michael Jackson nowadays? The day he died (Sorry to all you fans out there) Michael Jackson articles popped up, and became hot content. They stayed that way for 1 day, then shrank back to almost nothing. Like in this case, don’t write about something outdated.
2. Simply unpopular
Okay, I mean, who would read about what a laundry machine does for you? Honestly, people would rather read Cinderella than read something about how your clothes are washed!
3. Too factual
Okay. I’ve written a few of these factual guides, and I have to admit, they do HORRIBLE. I get like, 1 view a month! Anyways, the point is, don’t write something too factual. Something vague and broad might just grab one’s attention, preferably things other people only have a clue about. This can get you some decent revenue, and not just hitting the bottom. Seriously, how sin works in a scientific calculator? Forget it. The calculator itself? Maybe.
4. Usual, same things
Don’t write what other people write about, like if one person wrote about watches and there were millions of articles, do you think that one person will get 1 view a day, much less a week? I don’t think so. So, make sure your topic is unique and appealing.
5. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT include something like lego instructions. No one would search half of Triond to find something really specific, like how to build an ark in lego. Right? I mean, who would do that?
5.5 I forgot to mention that you don’t want to have your article like an essay, People tire from that stuff easily. I’m not saying that essays are bad, just that they’re boring to read, unlike an article basically like 2 people talking together.
1. Interesting and appealing things
Think about it. A certain quest guide in RuneScape might attract some appeal. In this case, don’t write about something boring and trivial (Trivial means umimportant), make something like as if you’re talking to that person, like I’m now, right?
2. Broad, huge topics in something
No one would search for how to kill stuff by itself- they’d search for something like, “What is RuneScape?” (Say, that’s a good topic to write about! I’m writing that! DIBS!). You would include how to kill stuff inside of the article “What is Runescape?”, right? Now that’s a good topic. =]
3. Tips for something
Tips will be a great help for stuff. Think about it- I can’t really explain this one.
4. Write unexpected articles.
I wrote “10 reasons why not to quit RuneScape” and on the first day, I got 50 views. See? Something different really comes in handy.
5. Write about mysterious articles- fun and enjoyable to read at the same time, too. This will also generate some revenue, and help you get to your goal.
Well, that’s all I have to share. Hope y’all make a good choice in Triond and be successful! If you find this article interesting, suggest it to others!
