Triond is an excellent opportunity for a writer, photographer, and/or creator to make advances in their career or hobby. However, here is a list of reasons that may suggest that Triond isn’t for you.
Hold on just one second Triond members, before you rip me to shreds, please read on…
You would rather share your valuable information and experience with the world without proper recognition. Triond provides excellent author recognition for your work, along with an “about me” page, picture, and all of your work gathered in one place.
You would rather share your valuable opinions and information with the world for free. If you would rather post your work without any payment for it, Triond is not for you.
You would rather write about a specific topic that 30 other writers have already covered, in detail. If you want to be limited on the topics or creativity of your work, the Triond is definitely not for you. At Triond, you can pretty much write about whatever you would like, within their relaxed guidelines. Usually the most unique, extraordinary, interesting, or strange articles seem to do the best.
You are a loner and do not want other writer’s comments, suggestions, and support. At Triond, other writers reach out to the new writers and help them understand and utilize Triond. If you don’t like meeting new people and making new friends who are interested in writing or photography as well, please stay clear of Triond.
You don’t want lots of people viewing your work. If you are a shy writer or photographer and would rather keep your work to yourself, please don’t sign up with Triond. Your work could potentially reach thousands of people, and we don’t want you to have an anxiety attack!
Hopefully, after reading this list, you have had a chuckle or two and decided to sign up with Triond. If you are already a member, keep up the great work!
Triond promotes certain writers and controls who is successful on its various unknown sites.
Some of the top ten writers can barely write in English and they rely on words like “bizarre” and “spectacular.”
I am not sure if Triond’s accounting of my views is accurate either and I have no way to check this. Triond is always running the show and flashing the same writers over and over in the top ten.
Also, the top ten writers are in some sort of cult club and they promote each other shamelessly.
I have had several pieces in the top ten in the two months I have written for Triond. I am not sure why or how this even happened, as it all seems so randomly controlled by someone.
Triond is like a slot machine. Sometimes you hit big, but most of the time you are putting your time into something that won’t pay off and may not even be legit.
The Bookmarking information is not that helpful either and Triond writers seem to be generating all the hits.
Triond is a mixed bag and I am just about done with its lack of content.
Online writing draws certain types of readers, so top 10 writers may be using keywords/other strategies to good effect.
Now, some have criticized sensational articles that get the most views; however, when you write for pay, you, as the writer, decide what works for you and for your readers. If you want to write for an online audience, remember, Internet readers want to access compact information they can read through quickly and that captures their interest–whether that interest be in slightly deeper subjects or in a passing of time with “quick interest” type articles.
And contrary to your view that Triond doesn’t pay off and may not be legit, I’ve always achieved monthly earnings AND been paid on time. I’ve found Triond admin. helpful and supportive of its writers.
What more could you want from the bookmarking section? 36 sites that automatically load your article URL? How is this NOT helpful? I’ve used those sites to bookmark my articles at other places and found the list incredibly helpful.
While Triond writers generate some of the hits, if you link to your articles, use the Triond widget, and include the Triond Feed at your other sites, you will drive traffic.
As with most writing endeavors, achieving success with Triond means hard work. There are no short-cuts. Those writers who are successful invest the necessary time to take this opportunity seriously.
A witty article which neatly turns our expectations on their head – although, to be honest, I nearly didn’t read it because I was afraid it might be one of those, ‘Poor me, I hate Triond because I’m not earning any money pieces!’ Thank goodness it wasn’t!
Good luck with your next articles.
I also had a chuckle and enjoyed this wonderful article. I completely agree with you 100% Tarra. Just like a coin has a heads and a tails, it’s the same everywhere. The five reasons are beautifully presented and gives all the Triond members somethings to ponder over. Brilliant psot. I enjoyed it immensely. Thanks very much for sharing it.
You definitely got my attention with your title. I thought this was a clever way to get people to see that writing for Triond is a good thing. No one will get rich writing for Triond, but you can make some great friends, gain experience, and earn some money at the same time.

Hi Tarra,
The comments above were directed to “What is wrong with Triond” not you.
I enjoyed the unique approach you took to show why this is a good opportunity. Good work.
