Find Out Which Triond Site Pays More Per View: Quazen vs. Gomestic

There is a significant difference in the amount of money earned from Triond sites for the exact same amount of views. Find out which site pays you more for your article’s views.

Triond is an on-line publishing service that publishes your articles to several different websites. These different websites have different topics or themes that target certain audience groups. An article makes money based on how many clicks it receives, as well as how many clicks the ads on the article’s page receives.

The website “Gomestic” is Domestic. If your article is about your home or your garden, it may be published on this site.  Some examples would be “how to” articles, or articles that include tips or advice about taking care of your home.

The website “Quazen” is for arts, games, hobbies, family activities, kids and teens, news, recreation, reference, and shopping.

When I checked my content window today, I clicked on “total views” and was surprised to see two of my articles had the exact same amount of views. However, when I looked at their earnings, I was pretty surprised to see the difference in payout.

Here is my two article’s stats:

How to Get Rid of Pesky Fruit flies     237 views     .77 earned     (Published on Gomestic)

Mother’s Day Hot Gift List                  237 views     .49 earned     (Published on Quazen)

OK, so neither one has earned me a fortune, but my point is that for the exact same amount of views, I have earned quite different amounts. Using my calculator, I figured out that on Gomestic I earned .00325 per view, and on Quazen I earned .00207 per view.

While I am focusing this article primarily on these two sites, due to my personal data and statistics, I am aware that Triond uses other sites, and their payouts are all different. At TriondBlog it lists at least 24 websites it publishes articles to. These are just a few that I am more familiar with:

  • Purpleslinky is home to humor, jokes, offbeat stuff, and trivia . My article on this website is only earning .00108 per view.
  • Picable publishes photos. Their payout is the lowest as far as I can tell. Since I haven’t placed many photos here, I am not too familiar with them. I have only placed one photo and it has a payout of .0004 per page view.
  • Socyberty deals with social and culture issues. These articles only pay .00169 per view.
  • Authspot publishes short stories, novels, plays, poems, poetry, and much more.
  • Trifter publishes articles on travel. While my articles only make .00253 per view, travel is a popular topic for searches.
  • Computersight publishes articles on computer topics. My pay per view is .00214.
  • Webupon focuses on new technology or web-based applications, or the Internet.
  • Notecook is for recipes.
  • Writinghood is all about writing.
  • Scienceray is new, and science is key.
  • Healthmad is for health related articles. This is also another higher traffic topic. Unfortunately, I don’t have much experience in this field, and have not written any article on this site, so I can not tell you what sort of payment per view it gives.

If you want to check your earning per page view, use a calculator to divide the total amount EARNED by the total amount of VIEWS. It’s not hard to do and may help you know what topic to write about in the future. Please note that these figures will not be quite exact since the content page counts all page views, and the number listed may be close or far from the next up count in payout.

While these figures may be approximately true, the real truth about earnings is more in the amount of views it draws. For instance if you write a hit article in a lower pay per view site, you may still make more than a lousy article in a higher paying site. The best scenario, however, is to write a hit article on the best paying site!

Another factor that is uncertain to me is if the ads clicked on your article’s page earns more per click than the simple page view click. The reason I say this is that another article of mine on Gomestic, How to Protect Yourself from the Poisonous Brown Recluse Spider, earned .00352 per view, which is more per view than my other Gomestic Article which earned .00325.

So, the bottom line is that Gomestic does pay more per view than Quazen. The even bigger bottom line is that without a hit article, or tons of articles, it probably doesn’t matter much which site your article gets published on. I say this because as you can see from my data, the difference between the two articles is significant in percentage, but not if you look at it in true dollars and cents. There is only .28 cents difference. That amount is not going to change my life. However, if you are planning on writing 1000 articles, and each of those have a .28 cent difference, you would be out $280.00, so in that case, it does matter.

I still consider myself a newbie and learner at Triond.
