I’d always thought that ‘Hot Content’ on Triond was one of the most sought after places to be and I yearned to have at least one of my articles there. I didn’t care whether it was for 1 second, 1 minute, 1 day or 1 year but I just HAD to be on the ‘Hot Content’ until finally one day my wish was completed through a very honest article called “Click, Click: Please Leave A Comment” and it wasn’t even one of my best pieces, although it did become the most successful through the ‘Hot Content’. And that wasn’t all, next a couple of my other articles featured on the ‘Hot Content’ list soon after ‘Click, Click: Please Leave A Comment’ hit success. This then forced me to write an article showing how “Hot Content” changes your (Triond) life.

1. It gives you views – so more earnings! Yes it does and I think that’s what awesome about the ‘Hot Content’ list that when you think you’ve promoted your article enough on Digg and Stumbleupon, the ‘Hot Content’ really does stay the true easy way to share your articles.
2. It’s the final praise on Triond as to how good your work is so you are encouraged to write more. You will know how good it feels when your first article hits ‘Hot Content’ if it hasn’t yet and if loads of your articles have been featured in ‘Hot Content’, you will know how nice the first time felt.
3. You  will find that more people want to become your fans or your friends so if they read more of your articles, you will get more views – so more earnings! These people wont just stop reading a couple of your articles but continue at the same rate, and more and more people will become your fan.
4.  After you’ve been featured once, more of your articles that you write in the future that share similar levels of success (or sometimes lower) will be featured in the ‘Hot Content’ list. I don’t know why this is but some of my articles that I wrote after my first ‘Hot Content’ success, did hit the list even though some didn’t have very many comments or ‘likes’ or views.
5. When you look back over that first article that hit you onto the ‘Hot Content’ you can use it to see what exactly created that mound of success and you can use some of the methods you used in it and introduce it to future articles that you write so it reaches the same level of popularity.
6. The earnings are great because even though you won’t be earning simply cents anymore, you will start realising that you may be stepping into double digit territory earnings per month, which is pretty impressive. I haven’t reached there yet but I can reveal that I might be pretty close to.
7. It keeps you running in such a way that you will never find you’ve run out of topics. And if you do, you can always right an article as to how ‘Hot Content’ changed your life or give tips to other aspiring ‘want to be in the Hot Content’ writers.
8. It fills you with the energy to want to comment the work of other people who have bothered to take time out and comment your ‘Hot Content’ work and this then fuels the vicious circle of getting more fans to get more views.

Well, I’m sure that there are many more ways that Triond’s ‘Hot Content’ list can morph your writing life from being simple to super but you’ve got to face the reality that the ‘Hot Content’ list is a proof of the pinnacle of your writing career on Triond. If anything, it is an incentive for you to carry on the brilliant work and do more so that you can constantly hit the ‘Hot Content’ because ‘Hot Content’ truly brands your work as ‘hot’!
