While reading published articles on Triond I got a little upset. You might call me a writer with some ethical ideas. We might have the right to disagree and comment each other, but recently I read some disturbing things.
Many of us are here to earn a penny. Let’s be honest. No matter how much we like to share our arts, experiences and knowledge: most of us would not be here if there was not a small earning to it.
We might all have different earnings, due to variable views. That you cannot write to make hot content is a fact.
Still we all like to draw attention to our work. You do not publish when you do not want to be read.
Some might send messages to other writers, asking to be read and promise to read you. There are some that will comment all articles, even if it short, so they can proof they have seen it.
Let all have their way. Who is a good writer? Leave that up to the public.
But I noticed lately that many hot content writers get nasty comments. You may question the ethics of fellow writers. I plea guilty too, but even if you disagree and comment some ethics, the content is much hotter than yours.
Are they better writers? I do not like to say who the best writers are, since I think that is a matter of taste. All readers are different, so let’s be happy writers are too.
Yes, I may question the ethics of people that write fake reports on deaths of celebrities, but the simple fact is it makes hot content.
People like to be shocked. It might not be my ethics to write things like that, but if I read that some of those authors get threats that their children should die, this is even more shocking to me than a fake news report.
I feel it is up to the families of the people involved in the fake obituaries or news reports to act. If they do not make a lawsuit of it, we should not comdemn it either.
I have learned that anti marketing works too. Bashing something down because you hate it, will make it gain popularity.
So we are all responsible that hot content is hot and those who write nasty comments earn for the writer they like to bash.
I think most of them are jealous. Yes, I might like to gain thousands of readers on my articles. But will I sell my soul for it?
Maybe bashing and downgrading is just not my style and writing things you are not good at, is not a great way to earn either. You get read most in what you write best.
Yes, I am a critic myself. But I do not mind others being more popular than me. If the public likes them more, the public is always right and I am a part of it too.
Does it makes them better writers or me a lousy one? I do not know. Many hot content shock writers claim to question their own writing skills.
This makes me love them, despite I have other morals. Look for the goodness in people and do not let jealousy take the best of you. Use your skills to give your best critics. Proof you are a worthy person and not a basher. Good writers are not born, but made. Writing is learning and non is perfect.
Keep your integrity. Stay faithful too yourself and give others the same right. Take the right to disagree, but also to be disagreed with and do not threat those who might be more popular.
What is the use of money and fame if we lose our humanity? This jealous downgrading behavior is not exclusive to writers. Politicians also get threats and even get killed for their ideas. Sometimes writers as well.

It is ironic that taking the time to make nasty comments on the hot content lists and viewing them just gives them more time on the hot content list. There is not need to resort to that sort of thing for such petty reasons. If people don’t like the kind of stuff a person is writing they should just avoid reading it.
