Dent Made in Goal Set for January 2012
As promised, I am weeding through my "friends" list and reading more work by those users on Triond who are really active.
So far, I think I have made a significant dent in my goal to weed out my friends list and to start reading more work from those who actively write on Triond.
1) I have sent emails to 15 friends thus far seeking confirmation as to whether they plan to continue writing for Triond. I got 3 responses back, thus weeding out 12 non-active friends on my friends list.
2) If my calculations are correct, I have viewed approximately 1,488 articles of friends within my friends list that I believe are still active on Triond. If I have not gotten to you, please be patient, I am still working through my list.
3) I have added 9 new users who have recently become fans of my work on Triond. Again, I know I have others that I have not gotten to yet, but I will, I promise.
4) Including this article, I have managed to post 8 new articles so far this month.
5) Last but not least, I have started reading Tony Leather’s newest E-book, Eternity and More, that I purchased back in December 2011. I must say at first I had doubts about this E-book, not because of the author, but because it is a collection of science fiction short stories. Being bluntly honest, I don’t like science fiction. However, I’m here to tell you, Tony has truly amazed me with his work once again. There is nothing that this author can write that I will not read. His work is fantastic! Tony captivates his readers to the point of no return. I don’t know how one can start reading one of his short stories and put it down before the end. I know I can’t. I have yet to be disappointed with anything written by Tony Leather! If you wish to support Tony, please see his article, New E-book Update.

Strange. I bought Tony’s ci-fi book bu haven’t looked at it yet – because it’s sci-fi!!!! Maybe I should get into it, now I’ve heard your comments.
