Originally designed to be the inspirational Season two Premiere of my content, this article’s release date was pushed back due to the waiting for responses from several Triond members. In any case, I’ve spoken with many of my Triond friends recently, asking them for the Triond authors that have influenced them the most over the past year. Their votes have been tabulated and I’m going to reveal the results.
Hundreds upon hundreds of Triond authors, yet which ones inspire the skill of writing onto others? Which members can be commended for helping new writers in the field improve their abilities? It’s time to find out the Top 10 Most Inspirational Triond Authors of 2008!
Oh, and one more thing before we get started with this amazing countdown. Just because your name isn’t on this list doesn’t mean you haven’t inspired anyone. Every Triond member has inspired every other Triond member in at least one way or another. With that said, let the countdown begin!
#10 – Glynis Smy / IspellBad / Lost In Arizona
Kicking off the countdown at #10 is a three-way tie between Glynis Smy, IspellBad, and Lost in Arizona, three inspirational authors of the Triond community.
Glynis is best known for her book review of “War of the Worlds,” her amazing day entitled “The Greater Flamingo: A Winter Visit to Cyprus” and her life realization “What is a Christian? The Story of Baby Wanted.”
IspellBad has inspired numerous people with his vampire and bible stories. He’s best represented by his works entitled “Wood Watchers in the United States,” “Fake People” and “As a Writer.”
Lost in Arizona was nominated due to her amazing kindness and friendliness with regards to other Triond members. For the three articles she recommends other people read, “10 Bizarre Mating Techniques” and “Through the Looking Glass: The Art of McEscher” are among her more popular content. “Most Memorable Photographs of All Time” took quite a while to create, but it remains one of her favorite articles.
At #9 on the list, Paula is known to the community as an artist and an eco-friendly Triond member. Her best works include “The Wonderfully Wacky World of Personal Ads,” “Adventurous Eating: Weird Menus from Around the World” and “Artistic Recycling: Amazing Uses for Leftover Bottle Caps.”
#8 – BC Doan
At #8, BC Doan is well-known on WebUpon for covering the internet and all of its complexities. Aside from that, BC’s most intriguing articles to date include “Purifying Indoor Air with Houseplants,” “Five Signs That Tell Your Relationship is Over” and “Five Fruits that will Energize your Body and Spirit.”
#7 – Patrick Bernauw
At #7, Patrick is best represented by his book review of “The Mystery of Marie Roget Murdered by Edgar Allan Poe,” his look back at the past in “The Curse of Shakespeare’s Scottish Play Macbeth” and his adventurous tale of “Seven Lost Treasures to be Found by You.”
#6 – Chan Lee Peng
At #6, Chan Lee Peng is just an unbelievable person. Look at this guy. He’s one of the top posters on Triond, with over 380 articles in his account. He’s even classified as a “Hot User” on more than one of the Triond publishing sites. Some of his favorite works include “The 8 Most Cruel and Controversial World Delicacies,” “The Most Horrible English Words” and a very interesting health article entitled “Are your Feces Healthy?”
#5 – Liane Schmidt
At #5 is a member by the name of Liane Schmidt. She’s a kind and popular author, inspiring more than a few people with her works. Her favorite articles include “B12 Shots: The Newest Energy Booster – Part 1 and Part 2,” as well as “Six Natural Ant Repellants.”
#4 – Morgana
At #4 on the list is Morgana, one of Triond’s most famous and humble poets. One of her voters even stated, “She has commented on almost everything that I have wrote. She has inspired me to write more often and to better understand my own writings.” When asked about her favorite articles, Morgana decided on 3 pieces of poetry – “Tell Me A Fable,” “Getting Ready for a Date” and “Autumn Leaves.”
#3 – Bren Parks
Barely holding on to a #3 position is Bren Parks, a wonderful woman who always tries to help others every way she can. Brenda’s articles have appeared on the Triond Home Page on more than one occasion. The articles that best represent her include “Organizations that will Help you get Eyeglasses,” “Sistine Chapel of Crystals Found in Mexico” and “High Tech Environmental Techniques that are Saving Our Planet.”
#2 – Lauren Axelrod
Sitting comfortably at #2 is Lauren Axelrod, a Triond member who was voted to have inspired quite a few different authors. One member described Lauren as a person who will “…tell you how things are without sugar coating it.” Her favorite works include “13 Undeniably Magnificent True Wonders of the World,” “8 Scenically Breathtaking Natural Springs in the World” and “Underground Archaeology: Rock-Cut Architecture in the Depths of the Earth.”
#1 – RJ Evans
Finally, my congratulations to RJ Evans for being voted as Triond’s most inspirational author of 2008! One Triond member remarked, “He’s been here for me since day one with advice and humor to keep me sane.” RJ classifies his work in three categories: IT and Internet, Environment and Nature, and Silly Stuff. His favorite articles to date include “How do they do that? 10 Mind-Blowing Flash Animations,” “Violent Death in the Insect World: Stunning Photography” and “A Short Illustrated History of the Nerd.”
RJ’s work is some of the most popular on Triond, gathering over 40,000 views – some of his articles even garnering over 120,000 views! Based on the fact that I obtained $91.00 from my 57,000+ Adsense topic, it’s safe to say that this guy is well on his way to the magical $1,000 mark! And who said Triond didn’t pay well, huh? He’s definitely a person to admire. Hard work, dedication and lots of effort definitely pay out in the end.
Closing Remarks
And there you have it – the 10 most inspirational Triond authors as of the end of 2008! What a way to start off Season 2 of my content, isn’t it?
I’d like to thank everyone I contacted for their support in my Triond-exclusive member poll. If you didn’t make the list, don’t feel left out. Keep on writing, keep on inspiring, and perhaps you’ll be in the top 10 next January when I review the most inspirational authors of 2009!

Hi, Dialga, I’m not the top submission at Triond. The top submission at Triond is Kristie Leong MD with about 1,600 pieces of works.
Glad to see your work here. Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for this, Dialga… I am really flattered though do not feel deserving of the number one spot! I guess I should now do a Gwyneth Paltrow style speech, but will stop short of that! Needless to say, however, thanks to all the Triond writers who have supported, inspired and encouraged me through 2008. They know who they are!
That magical mark you mention. Not boasting but have well passed it – proof positive that it can be done! Problem is, now, the only way I can go is down! lol! Thanks again!

Curtsey, bow, big smile and ….faint!!! Oh my gosh, THANK YOU!!
I am speechless> an unusual event LOL.
Thanks to all who supported me and feel I have helped them. I have not made the earnings of the man who deserves the top spot, RJ,my friend, but my rewards came in other forms, friendship.
Dialga, I thank you for the time and effort put into this, and feel you deserve my spot.
2009 will see new writers showing us their work,I welcome them and wish them good luck. (If this was the Oscars, I would be the one to trip and fall as I walk away)! :0

Wow, this must have taken a tremendous amount of time and effort. Thanks so much for the mention. I’m not sure it’s deserved but it is much appreciated!
Welcome to all the new Triond members and I’m huge fans of the other authors that you have written about here, along with many lesser knowns such as Sotiris, Gordon G, Catelin Hoover, papaleng, Norbert Soloria Bermosa, Nelson Doyle, MJ Patrick, Amit Goyal, C Jordan, Brian Daniel Stankich, lanne, eddiego65, lindalulu, Debra Mann, Louie Jerome, shayes, rookie expert, and newbie TLWarner! How’s that for name-dropping? lol There are tons of others that are worth checking out as well but if I keep writing here, no one will keep reading.
My husband Mark Bentley and son Kris Mitchell-Bentley are obviously, in my opinion, worth a look at!
Thanks again Dialga! I told you I tend to babble.

I know when I first came to triond I didn’t know anyone and everyone here just welcomed me and pushed me to be better just like I am doing now with the newbies.
Thanks for the Props, Love ya!

Thank you, Dialga. I was surprised when you first sent me that note because I didn’t know what you were doing and if you really meant to send the note to me. I don’t even know what to say. I didn’t know I was inspiring anybody , I’m so glad that my poorly constructed work has inspired people. Thank you again for including me here. I must say I am humbly touched.
January 12th, 2009 at 8:17 pm
Wow! What can I say except a writer is just a writer! His or her words are meaningless and lost to the ages of time. If not for those that read them and are touched by them through thought and soul. It is in this that I have felt so many of your writings out there as I have read them.
There are so many that are so much more talented than I am . That can touch my heart as well as many others . To say what I have written is an inspiration is a great honor one that I will work hard to earn. Thank you so much for choosing my name as one of the top ten. However I believe that anyone who dares put him self or her self out there in words or verse of poem are equally as deserving of such honors! We as writers choose to tell our stories many times not for recognition as for the thought of freeing our selves and others from the chains of this world.
So I thank all who have freed me with there kind words that have traversed triond like a message sent out in a bottle to all who may be trapped lost or needing such words of inspiration. I look forward to another knew year and meeting more great friends an writers that can put a storm to paper and shock my soul like lightning ! Thanks to all again ! Great article!

Thank you, Dialga, for giving a newbie some work to look at. I enjoy writing and love to explore this site – always interesting stuff! But looking at successful work gives us newbies better ideas of how to make this venture successful, as well as make new friends.

I knew you were up to something wonderful when you were asking for articles. What a great way to introduce authors out to the community, and get otherwise unknown pieces out to everyone. Thank you for the mention, but I must admit, there are more spectacular writers out there than me. I am humbled to know that my writing has reached this community, and that many can call me a friend. Thank you Diagla, for always being such a sweetheart, and a friend who brings a smile to those who need it.
