Writing has been a difficult task for those interested in writing. Another subsidiary of writing has been "Content Writing" which is quite a new evolution in the writing field and is spreading like wildfire in India. But there are some "basic" issues with Content Writing too, that needs to be solved immediately.
Content Writing
Creative Writing has been a difficult task whether one is writing articles, poetry or short stories. Scripts writing for serials and films have been a part and parcel of writing too. Whenever writing about these one needs to jot down the points on a piece of paper and elaborate upon these points. All these would take a huge amount of time and days and days together if one is writing poetry, short stories, or writing scripts. Another subsidiary of the writing field has evolved in a new writing known as ‘Content Writing’. ‘Content writing’ is done by referring and researching on the internet on various subjects and jotting down the points and expanding upon these points which would result in hours and hours together as one may not find the exact information required to write these articles which could be on subjects such as animals, birds, sports, sports persons, autobiography of a person/s or about universities. Once the information is received, the next thing one has to do is to write these articles in his/her own words and should be quite careful of getting into ‘copyright’ and plagiarism issues.
The main issue of Content writing has been the copyright issue as the writings on the internet belong to a person/s or to a group of individuals and is it right to take information from these people is the basic question. The other issue being, most companies in India have a basic target of 25-30 articles to be completed per day by their employees. Clearing the doubts of Content Writing from other higher elderly authorities who have been quite well versed in this field, according to them they say that 25-30 articles is quite an impossible task per day and if it is so, many of these articles could be rejected by the concerned authority/authorities, moreover in order to achieve such targets these employees could be also working from their homes too by bringing their office work to their homes, meanwhile they say that the maximum that one can do is 5-6 articles in a day only. Therefore, could the high target be considered as exploitation? According to these higher elderly authorities it is surely a matter of exploitation by the employers of the company/companies on hand. These high authorities had also put forward a basic question:-Is it right for the employees to bring their office work to their homes too?
They thus conclude that too much time spend on work and less time at the homes, would create numerous problems in these employees households and the children of these employees would feel quite neglected and thus they become misguided by others and usually take to the wrong path which has not been a wonder these days. The need for the employees is to sit with their children in their homes and spend as much as time with them, and keep their office work at their ofice only, so that these children do not take the wrong path and follow the right path.
Though many won’t like to indicate these issues about ‘Content Writing’ as the employees earn good return in the form of money, but is it right to spare these companies and let them go as the way they like!!!
