Cheating in Online Writing

Many writers try to cheat the system to get more traffic, more views and more earnings. How do you figure it out?

Many online writers find ways to cheat the system just to earn extra income. Some went to the extent of even clicking their own ads in other computers and earn something from it. This may be the reason why Google Adsense would not want to pay those writers. I believe that one of the major reasons is an unrealistic proportion of readers clicking the ads.

Page Impressions Per Click

Bearing this idea in mind, I tried to see what are the possibilities of my ads being clicked by a reader. This can easily be found in the Overview section of Google Adsense. I examined all my page impressions by clicking view “All time” and divided it by the number of clicks made on the ads. The ratio is 75.13. This means that for every 75 views, I will most likely get one click in my ads. And this is where I get my revenue. This I think makes sense because if somebody tries to cheat, it will figure out to be a much lower number of page impressions per click which will lead Google to ban somebody who does. There must be a range of normal number of clicks for a certain number of page impressions.

Earn Extra Income

As of the moment, I earn more in Google Adsense than what I earn in Triond, but I get to receive extra income in Triond on a regular basis. It will take a hundred dollars to collect my earnings from Google Adsense and I’m unsure if ever I get to receive it. At least I’m sure I have not clicked my ads.

Meanwhile, Triond assures me of regular earnings never before possible without the opportunity to earn extra income through online writing. Earnings in Triond is not dependent on ads but more so on the number of views. So the more I write articles that attract the attention of readers, the more I earn. And I do believe that writing quality articles do gain more traffic, thus more earnings. It is a better strategy than cheating. Cheating will never be my cup of tea.

So if you enjoy writing, and want to earn extra income in a legitimate way, Triond is one of the best ways to do so. You receive your income right away without much fuss and you get to earn while you sleep. If I have not decided to start writing online, I would never have earned anything. I used to earn only something to buy a snack. Now, I can buy snacks for five of my friends. Will I ever get to treat a whole party?

    Google do ban people who click the adverts on the own page and anyone wanting to make quick money online by bending such company rules usually end up being blocked by others like Paypal as well.

    Cheating seems like a lot of work. I think I’ll just keep plugging away and see if I can make a bit of money through quality articles.

    My mother taught us long ago “cheaters never prosper” and I truly believe that. They may feel that they have but they will get found out eventually. I thought you were going to write about plagiarism. This is another way “writers” cheat. I have found one of my articles in the entirety copied on someone’s blog. Also I find writers who take portions and pictures from one another here and elsewhere. Where is the originality in that?

    What good is cheating unless you just sit there and punch your own buttons all night. then you gain a bad re & possibly get banned. So what’s the gain, ridiculous.
    Good targetting pal, good luck with your site.

    Google is constantly on the watch for anything out of the way. I’m vigilant about my passwords too. Someone who doesn’t mean well could get in someone’s account and click on ads as a form of sabotage.

    I do not cheat. Personally I have not made one cent from AdSense and wonder if it will ever earn me. That small change I earn, I get from Triond.

    Glad to read your comments Dear Friends.
    @diamondpoet, I agree with you.
    @Lord Banks, yes indeed hard work counts.
    @Janny, thanks for keeping up.
    @Sharifa, that’s good advice.
    @mishee, thanks for your smile.
    @Martine, I get a little more in Adsense but Triond pays right away. One provides disposable income, the other provides savings.

    Cheating works when you do it before it was known to be cheating. In every attempt there is little cheating in one way or another. They are not known as cheating as long as rules do not change. So cheating in online writing is relative to rules/terms and conditions.
