There are several Triond writers who have written books. They have self-published or have had their work published by others. The publishing world is tough and this article shares the creation of words that have taken hours and even years to put together.
The writer sits and creates, their words are art. Creations of the mind; days, months and years of hard work, sacrifice and self-doubt go into writing a book.
More and more authors, well known or new are turning to self-publishing. The market is tough to break into and world finances are not helping the publishing world. Other authors work with Literary agents and get publishing contracts. Either way, having your own book finished and on a shelf, be it in the home or a bookstore, is the book writer’s dream.

Gosh Glynis! I had no idea there were so many book writers in our midst. Thank you for the info. I must look out for these books. I doubt if I shall ever put a book together but I have had three poems published. You have done a great job in promoting these writers.

Thanks all.
Christine, there are more out there I am sure and we tend to forget this is what can be achieved. When we first start out at Triond some of us do not have courage. Now some have books through gaining the support and courage.

Some of these Triond writers are my friends. So happy to see them get thier dreams. Hope I achieve mine too. I wanted to be a romance novelist in my own country. I’ve submitted some. Sadly, I’m not yet successful. They keep telling me that its not my genre. Maybe coz I couldn’t write about sexy scenes LOL (not kidding) Good post, Glynis. Thanks.
