Can Duplicate Content Hurt Your Website?

Many webmasters have been focused on generating revenue with adsense, using other people’s articles, Constructing sites for different topics in a very short time, rather than creating their own content, that is understandable because they write for webpage content which consume considerable time.

While this is a practice permitted in the long run, the original content will succeed over duplicate … But why? Let’s see the difference … The original content is that which is written by a person specifically for the particular topic or website.

While the duplicate content is used by tens, hundreds or maybe thousands of people, as it happens with the articles “stuck” in the various article directories, which can be copied and used by anyone at any site.

There is fear in some webmaster about using duplicate content on their website, it is assumed that the search engines to criminalize the use of these articles, they consider your site irrelevant when they bring up the final results of the searches or to permanently ban your site. Search Engines like google delete the site from its database and therefore this site will never be found when users conduct their searches.

I personally I think this fear is exaggerated, I do not think that Google chose to banish all that use duplicate content, if so, would have to start with the big news sites which accused each other of plagiarizing content. In summary, if you already are using a duplicate articles, is almost certain that your site will never occupy the top Ranks of search engines, but that you could get banned by Google … I doubt it!

That’s why the original contents always win over the duplicate content, the SE will give more importance to a site, blog or forum that is updated daily bringing something new to the internet, that’s why blogs and forums often occupy the first locations of the search engines , Although they are not really “optimized” for the search.
