Not everyone is born a writer. Personally, I never even thought that I would be able to write about any topic at all. Sure, I could string some words together, and I used to write poetry, but creative writing or article writing was never my forte, at least I didn’t think so. But, I had a really awesome English teacher in high school and through her I discovered that writing is a skill that can be learned. The key is to read — a lot … about anything you can get hold of — a newspaper, an editorial, a pocket book, anything at all. Then, you must also do a lot of writing. Keep a diary and jot down anything you can think of — even if it’s just a phrase or a couple of sentences. In time, you will be able to write a whole page of your thoughts without even realizing it. Now ask a friend or a writing expert to read your diary, and allow him or her to make the necessary corrections, then rewrite your work. You’ll become a better writer in due time and earn money by being one!
