Back to Work

    Howdy everyone. Wow, it has been quite a while. About 2-3 years. Actually, it was a sudden urge to type my real name into Google’s search engine. Oh my! The things I found from years ago. Secretly I’m in the process of deleting as many links I have to the Internet and replacing them with a pen name of sorts.

    Anyway, so I logged into Triond once again. Oh! The number of E-mails I had to go through in order to log in! Yes, I just used a fragment sentence. My old, (And current) English teacher’s would smack me across the head for that one.

    Then I saw them! The 20+ shorts, poems, or whatever it is that I had written in the past. I was mortified. I couldn’t even read them for fear of the embarrassment they’d entail. I mean, I don’t even remember writing poetry. I don’t even like poetry! (Sorry to all of those great poets out there.) I saved one since it has received 290+ views though! I was shocked. So I reread it, and for my age it was pretty good.

    Writing doesn’t interest me anymore. I wish it did, truly. But, I normally can’t stand it. Blogs, eh. Sure. But, I’m not up to fighting trolls and grammar-Nazis. I’ll have to tell you all the story of the long-winded debate I got in with a man about circumcision once. Oh god! That conversation lasted forever! But, bringing it back up would only refuel the controversy. And, truthfully I don’t have the strength or coffee to go through another debate.

    I like different things now days. Reading, video games, and art. Oh, and as my passion for art grows so does mine for computers. Yes. I just said computers. And, I am female.

    I actually enjoy programming, and working with computers of all sorts. I can sit and talk for hours about the pros and cons of different computer OS, and the importance of regularly updating software, and emptying collected Internet cookies.

    I still also love the human body. This may possibly by my true driving force. My love of it could almost be considered creepy by some. Blood, guts, hearts, lymph nodes, come at bro! I’ll talk about anything in person. But, I’m wary over the Internet. There will always be someone who isn’t afraid to contradict you. Even, if the topic is opinion based. Like my infamous statement: “Take vitamins, they are really important!” There will be that one person, maybe two, who will-for no other reason but to bug me- say, “Well, I don’t take vitamins and I never get sick.” My rebuttal, “I hope karma bites you in you in the butt and you get sick next week.”  Not too professional….

   Anyway. I think it may be good to try writing again. I’ll see. We all know how life gets hectic. Your teacher or boss yells at you and you just want to flip a table. But, in the end you just roll your eyes, get home, and then rant to family or friend. Maybe even the Internet.
