Will the world ever be nothing but articles flying around on the internet written by machines? Such tools already exist. Read some interesting facts and previews.
Using automated content tools might not be a good idea if they are 100% automatic for good article writing, but if you buy some software that can help you write with drag and drop features you might be on your well way to become the fastest writer ever.
Article assistant for example is a software that can search the internet for articles related to the keywords you choose and then let’s you drag and drop words from those other articles in order to make a unique article. Like they say, this will make you an instant expert immediately.
I do not know if this is good or bad in terms of moral conduct, but this software works really well, however I do not use it for my serious articles, just for smaller free article directories or Blogger.
This software makes me wonder about the quality and authenticity of the articles we read everyday. We know there are ghost writers, we know there is software such as the one above and that there are automated scripts to write articles 100% automatic. I have some of those scripts and even some full software. It works perfectly and it gets indexed by Google so this is really cool.
What is the true power of automated content tools? First you can write millions of pages with no effort. They used randomized sentences and keywords and some basic grammar rules so it’s really hard to distinguish between a computer article and a non native english writer article.
What if everyone used this kind of software or scripts? What would be the consequences to the world and to the internet? There would be millions, maybe even billions of pages per user. The internet already has more than 1 Trillion unique pages, and these are just those indexed by Google, now the world would have millions of Trillions of pages. Even if you were older than the Universe you would never have a chance to read them all because the write speed of the machines is faster than your reading ability.
The hosting companies, specially the cheaper ones, would either have to rise their prices or to close doors because of hard disk space usage and bandwidth usage, at least because of automated fetching tools.
The search engines would index only about 0.1% of the entire known web. The growth rate of webpages is so fast that there is just not enough computer power to keep up with them all. Getting faster computers would rise the cost of operation so high that it wold just not be profitable for search engines to exist.
What would this all do to you? You would just have the chance to read one page about any subject in the middle of trillions of other pages.
Scary.
Will people ever use mass article writing tools? If any big company releases a software like this, like Google or Microsoft, the reality described above might very well become a reality.
