Aspiring Authors Diary – 27 January 2012

My day job is as an accountant and tax consultant, so the January deadline is the busiest time in my working calendar and the last few weeks have been hectic.  My last diary entry can be found at : http://writinghood.com/online-writing/aspiring-authors-diary-9th-january-2012-the-beginning/

I have struggled to find time or energy to write much, but have now published the next three instalments of my Unicorn short story, which is starting to liven up now, all four parts can be found at:

I have not yet started on my Government based fictional story, or my script, but I have started working on another idea to serialise once the Unicorn and Government ones are complete and I hope to become more prolific in February once the Tax Return rush is out of the way.

I have a week at home the second week of February, so will be intending to set aside a couple of days on my script – I want it finishing and submitting as soon as possible – so I can at least say I’ve dipped my toe into the water of becoming a real writer.

Whilst I’ve not yet used the dual screens for writing, I’ve used them a lot in my work and they are brilliant, Excel open in one screen and the tax office website on the other – highly recommended if you have the space for two screens.

Anyway, I must get back to those Tax Returns, they won’t submit themselves, but hopefully you will note an increase in my workload and I hope you enjoy the Unicorn stories – I think they are getting better and the fifth part is coming as soon as I can!
