A Way to Get More People to Read Your Article
Run an ad in your local newspapers. See how! It worked great for me.
We have two local newspapers in our hometown, both these papers have an area they call “Letter to the Editor”. This is an area in the News papers where you can publish comments, write articles and voice your opinion. It is my understanding that most news papers have areas like this and they are more than willing to promote websites. I wrote an article in both our local papers about Triond. I also let the readers of these papers know that the site was free and that they could write as well if they enjoyed writing and making money. I added the website address for Triond to my article so folks would know where to find the site. Our papers run articles such as this free.
It is always nice to get something free especially if it means making more money here on Triond. “It worked”! I am getting a lot of hits on my articles and making more money than I was making before I ran the piece in the newspapers. Though I upset some of the people in the area because they feel that at least two of my articles that I have written here are hitting to close to home. Some have left negative feedback and others have left positive feedback but either way rather it be positive or negative feedback I am still making money. If I had not wanted the hometown folks to read my articles I would never have written about my writing on this site in our local news papers. I have nothing to hide! I am proud of my life as well as my articles. i enjoy this site ad the folks here and once again I am making money!

Well now its not all about the cash is it? But good creative idea you are sharing. There are lots of local papers (not big city) that accept free ads, so you are on to something. Thanks for the good idea!

Thank you for the newspaper tip. How did you link the editor page to Triond. Did you put the link in the newspaper and tell readers to click on it. I am also curious about earning money on Triond. Have you been able to drive a lot of readers to your links?

Hi LG just wanted to answer your question above.
I wrote about the site in two of our local newspapers in there letter to the editor. I snail mailed the info to them. After telling about the site I signed my real name as well as my pen name and ask folks to check the site out and to please read some of my articles. As far as driving a lot of readers to my links there are good days and bad days but I seem to be doing quite well. I hope it works for you as well.
