A New Feature for Triond(ers)
They say if you are good, aim for becoming better!
As most Trionders believe, Triond is really a great place to speak and be heard by people across the globe. Personally, I think the interface and the layout of the site are terrific; and then of course there are some great people out there who provide the writers with their honest opinion and advice. There are too many wonderful features of Triond to mention here.
However, I do believe that this amazing site could be made much more lovable by adding a crucial feature. Ever since I have joined this site I have been going through some commendable experiences, including getting to know new people coming from myriads of backgrounds and places, receiving great comments from my friends, reading lots of informative articles and intriguing poems and even getting some useful tips, to name a few.
As a result of knowing so many people, it becomes imperative that you have proper means to keep in touch with them, clear your doubts and provide them with help. Well, the messaging facility is great, however, I think it becomes quite cramping when you need to exchange words with someone. Therefore, I think it would be great if Triond installed a ‘chat’ feature on the Dashboard. That would not only make the communication easy, instant and interesting, but will also help us form a few long-lasting friendships.
I am sure most Triond users would welcome this addition. Moreover, it will help the owners of the site make Triond even more popular, thereby giving them an edge over their counterparts.
Please let me know your opinions on this subject.

There is a forum on here… a message board if you will. There are times when I would like to use it to explain my absence, or that I am here but not commenting but I don’t think people are using it so I don’t. It is too hidden. You have to click on community first and then forum. They need to put it on the first page of your dashboard.

This is a good idea. Some of us have initiated chats on yahoo messenger though.

Its a good idea I use Facebook or MSN for instant chats with other triond friends but a built in system would be useful. LB

Like the first comment from Matt, not sure I’d have time to use it. It’d hard enough squeezing in the writing! However, I’m sure there are many who would welcome this idea.

Sounds like an interesting idea. I am not sure if it would be a duplicate of the Triond Forum or the instant messaging boards offered through Google and Yahoo.

That’s good idea. But I think it’s difficult to set up the ‘chat’ feature.Only have a inbox to send these instant message. However, hoping that…..
