Many writers, when approaching the writing of flash fiction, make the mistake of trying to cover too much which causes their stories to read more like essays instead of fiction.

More of a advertisement for your work than something new Guy but why not indeed! Yes I try very hard with my short stories to include as much dialogue as possible to bring the piece to life. I have listened to your advice on using maybe 3-4 characters as a max in as short story as to not overly complicate something that should be short and punchy and sometimes do we need to know the characters names? is it important? maybe its the characters actions that is key? good advice here. LB
