Discouraged with a few views of your article? These writing tips are guaranteed to work for you within a short span of time.
I couldn’t wait but share my observations while writing at Triond for just barely a month. I have learned some tips from what I considered veteran writers at Triond as well as reading articles written by popular writers.
I’d like to start writing my articles right so I studied the articles I wrote and gained some insights after making some critical observations. I hypothesized a little then tried to apply some concepts in my articles.
My findings revealed that significant increase in readership (or rather views) can be achieved through the following:
I did not do this for a few days just to find out if posting to some known social networking sites really matters. When I did, I easily gained more than 90 views after a few hours on an article I never expected would have those number of views. It’s probably the title or the picture that intrigued readers because nobody commented or said they liked it.
Maybe somebody can give some feedback on how they happened to see this article:
Thorns That Played a Role in Saving the World
These articles had more than 50 views overnight:
Eight Tips on How to Look Younger than Your Age
Conventional and Unconventional Ways to Save Gas Effectively
This picture had initially just one view before I clicked the “I Like It” logo of Stumble Upon.
People are basically curious about tips, how to’s, ways to do things, or generally things out of the ordinary or something that intrigue them.
Linking your ideas to some articles on-line will enrich the readers’ experience.
There is no correlation (based on my limited data) between the number of articles written and income. Quality work appears to be the norm and of course, page advertisers (in the page your work has been published) have something to do with it.
I deduced this has something to do with people being free on this day. After work, or during weekends, we expect people to have more time to browse around.
Statistically, if you have more articles, the greater your chances of being heard. It’s just a lesson on probability. I remembered somebody said that Korean boxers were trained to punch a lot. This, according to trainers, increases their chances of hitting their opponent and thus gain more scores.
Although I do not easily subscribe to other members at Triond because I’m apprehensive I will not be able to read their articles faithfully for lack of time to do so, friends increase readership through the multiplier effect. An interesting article can get some help.
This of course will drive traffic to your article if your website is frequently visited.
When Internet users search for information in the internet, they are presented with at least nine title options. If your title happens to be there, and the user clicked it and presented with a very long account without interesting pictures, it is very likely that your article will not be read fully. Actually, I do that when I do some searches. That is, unless the reader decides the slant is a good read and they have enough time to spare.
Giving importance to your readers will reflect in your writings. Articles that uplift people’s lives get read more.
By the way, there’s one article I have difficulty finding out what’s in it that made it among those well-viewed articles: Bearded Pig.
I may not be a popular writer at this point but I’ve tried these things and these worked in so short a span of time I’ve been writing. I believe you already have some strategies in mind. Please tell me if it worked for you. Happy writing.

I like #9. Writing is supposed to be shared to everyone, hence the importance of keeping it simple and to the point.
