I should also say, that the ‘hot content list’ has changed since then (the period around which I wrote that article).
Triond’s editors have told me that they put the newest articles on the list, rather than those which have performed outstandingly well. I do not know if this is just a temporary change, or if this is what it’s going to be like from now on.
I suppose the way to get on the hot content list NOWADAYS, is to constantly submit new articles. However, the other points in that article are still applicable. Thanks again for including my work.
January 4th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
The Hot Content is, as Anne points out, now for new articles – not the number of hits that articles get. That is why many of the articles are not so hot, lukewarm or just plain bad (this one excepted of course!). The articles you have pointed out above are excellent for new writers on Triond to take notice of! I will bookmark this article so I can push towards it people who email me and ask me the usual how to do questions! Thanks! It will be very useful!

Thanks for the mention, Dee. How kind of you!
And what a great idea for an article. It offers readers resources they can turn to for questions they may have, it contains those resources in embedded links, it naturally would contain good keywords, and it would rank well because of all the above.
