Online publishing is an incredible opportunity for writers wanting to earn an income from the words that they love to write. Turning your words into income is as easy as 1-2-3, if you know where to publish on the Internet.
There are dozens of paying Internet publishing opportunities geared toward those writers and content producers whom have the words and the guts to give them a try.
Here are “10 Incredible Websites Wanting To Pay You to Write” and there isn’t any better time to start earning an extra income than now.
The ShareCash paid publishing opportunity is a unique publishing platform for writers and content producers, because it allows its members to upload their brilliant works into a file sharing database, and then distribute these files via a download. Content producers can earn 40-80 cents per downloaded file that they have available on ShareCash. That can potentially earn as high as $800.00 per 1000 downloads per file and that is a lot of money.
Tips: ShareCash is the perfect publishing and distribution platform for writers who write eBooks, How-to Booklets and Recipe Cookbooks. It is also an outstanding platform for those that are in the music industry to be the first to distribute and market their original songs, performances and MP3s and get paid for giveaways. Sample File.
Triond is the first reputable online publishing company that I’ve had the privilege writing for on the Internet. This company pays for all kinds of original internet content from writing to videos and nearly everything in-between. Unlike most online publishing companies, Triond operates over a dozen websites where they publish their members finished masterpieces and pay 50% of the advertising revenue that is generated from the content is published by its members each and every month.
Tips: To become a successful content writer on Triond; takes time, dedication and a willingness to write on a regular basis. To become a successful writer on the internet requires a content producer to step out of their comfort zone and to proactively promote the articles they write, the music that they make, and the video that they produce to larger audiences that participate in online forums, search engines and popular social networks. Without doing any type of self-promotion, then a content producer has little opportunity to become successful on the internet. Sample Article.
Bukisa is one of those online publishing opportunities that have the potential to earn writers an excellent monthly income. Content producers can publish written content, music content and video content and currently earn $3.19 per 1000 unique views. Depending on the type and popularity of the content being published and viewed; the revenue will vary according to paid advertising sponsorship.
Tips: Bukisa allows its members to publish their previously published content using their service. If a member has published an article, mp3 or video elsewhere first, then they can also publish it a second time with Bukisa. Of course, the greater income is earned from original content (not published elsewhere) and it is important and smart to publish some of your original content with Bukisa, so to earn a higher royalty. Sample Article.
StoryMash is an excellent internet publishing opportunity for any writers who enjoys writing short stories and want to get paid to publish them. At StoryMash members are encourage not only to write their own original stories, but also to write an original second, third (ect.) chapter that takes another member’s story in a different, but creative direction.
Tips: Writers earn a percentage of the advertising revenue that is generated from their original stories and also will earn a lesser royalty split from any additional chapters that they have published as an alternative chapter addition to another member’s original works. It is excellent ways to generate a wider reading audience to not only write first chapter original stories, but to write those additional chapter alternatives. Sample Story.
Some writers want total control of their writing and income potential and mastering their on personal blog is an outstanding way of accomplishing this goal. Blogging is an entirely different approach to publishing content on the web. Unlike, the publishing opportunities presented above; producing and maintaining a blog puts the writer in the driver’s seat in the online publishing industry. The blogger decides what is published on their blog and how often new content is published. Bloggers are paid a percentage on the advertising revenue that is generated from their Google Adsense advertisements and the more popular the blog is on the internet, then the more money a blogger can potentially make. Also, bloggers can choose to write paid product reviews and post them on the blog for an additional source of income.
Tips: Bloggers need to self-promote their blogs in forums, search engines, social networks and through friends, so to assist the blog’s popularity.
WiseBread is a topic specific blogging opportunity for anyone who specializes in writing about personal finance and thrifty shopping and spending techniques. Bloggers must first submit three samples of their best unpublished works to the editors and get accepted before they can start writing for an income. WiseBread pays bloggers a premium page view rate for the traffic that is attracted to the blog.
Tips: Carefully read qualification page before submitting anything.
Shvoong is the perfect place for people who enjoy sharing their knowledge in summaries or abstracts that cannot exceed 900 words in length. Read a book, and then write about it. Visit a website, and write a summary about the website. Tinker with technology, and then share your thoughts. Best of all get paid for what you know.
Tips: Creative writers need not apply. If you write in detail and can precisely explain what you are writing about then this is the opportunity for you. Sample Abstract.
451Press is a relatively new blogging experience which allows bloggers to earn an income from their blogs. The pay structure is aimed to reward experience bloggers a greater income earning potential, the longer that they maintain an active blog at 451Press. Blogger are encouraged to write what they know or have a passion for, and then publish it on their blog. Bloggers will not only get paid $1.50 per CPM, but will also earn from $0.50 per post to $2.00 per post depending on the number of months the blogger has been actively blogging and posting to 451Press.
Tips: Read the other tips above.
LinkWorth is a great opportunity for writers who have maintained a successful blog and receive thousands of views each month. LinkWorth pays up to 70% of the advertising revenue that is generated from the product and service reviews that they assign you to write about and post to your blog.
CarrotReviews pays writers to write reviews about the websites where they have shopped at before or used. This is one of the best articles I’ve read, I had no idea you could get paid to do blogs! (Yeah, yeah, I’m new.) Anyways, thank you so much for sharing!
March 8th, 2010 at 3:36 pm
Most of those sites pay via a certain number of page views, nobody is going to make a lot of money via that. It is best to use these as side projects and work on sites that pay you an upfront payment(yes, they do have sites like that).
March 8th, 2010 at 8:42 pm
Hope I make use of atleast some of these sites.
March 8th, 2010 at 9:27 pm

March 8th, 2010 at 9:58 pm
Wonderful share. A must for content writer.
March 8th, 2010 at 10:45 pm
I must check out these writing sites. I am on two right now with Triond and Associated Content, but I think diversity helps too.
March 8th, 2010 at 11:28 pm
Hi Nelson – good to hear from you on Triond again. I am still plugging away here. I’ve got a few articles on Associated Content, but they only offer upfront payments to Americans. I’ve got some at Bukisa – at that price I should be posting more there. Thanks for the info. Do you know of any Christian sites that pay for devotionals or Bible teaching?

EXCELLENT ARTICLE
March 14th, 2010 at 6:04 am
Thanks for sharing these links. I would like to check on 451. Another alternative writing site is Factoidz! Related article about the site :
http://writinghood.com/online-writing/why-is-factoidz-a-hot-trend-for-freelance-writers/
March 14th, 2010 at 7:44 am
I like Factoidz too. Although Bukisa pays more per view I think their articles get less exposure. Which would you name as the top 3, and is it best to spread your work around or use only one? Non-US Citizens can use Bukisa, AC and Factoidz.
March 14th, 2010 at 11:18 am

I have been in three sites and the pay depends upon the view.. $1.50 per one thousand view…my gosh..you will really starve in here…you cannot depend on it as source of income but its much
better to regard writing as a hobby and look for a job somewhere else.
